How do you feel about G6?

My personal opinion is very mixed

On one hand I'm very upset they brought back G4 because it feels like a cheap cash grab to play on nostalgia and the fame of G4 instead of doing their own thing like G5

I wasn't a super big fan of G5 but that was because the 3D style, the oversaturated colors, the poor handling of giving the ponies new tech and how it felt like they couldn't decide if they wanted to do their own thing or be a sequel but I still thought they had potential and with some tweaks and care could have been one of the greats

Not to mention G6 is focusing (key word is "focus" i know AJ and Rarity will join later) on the 4 most marketable mane 6 ponies making it feel even more obvious it's a cash grab. Also I know this isn't a sequel but it feels so off that twilight has gone back to being a unicorn

On the other hand I'm happy they're going back to 2D and I really enjoy that they seem like they had fun with and added flair to the designs, the lead artist seems to be a great artist and because it's similar to G4 it means there's a chance for some great merch and as a collector I relish that opportunity (yes I know it's abit hypocritical of me) and who knows maybe the writers can save this to atleast be nice and get newer generations of children to have what we had with mlp.

But whatever happens let's all agree this is a AU and not the ponies we love and that's okey
