We're back! AND... Pony in the Lighthouse is one year old! Thanks to all of YOU lovely people out there! <3

I'm off by a few days, but what can ya do... Anyway, it's been a long year and a lot has happened for me. I started this blog a few days before graduating from my undergraduate university. Since then I've moved from Los Angeles back home to San Francisco, then all the way across the globe to sunny Glasgow, Scotland. This summer, I'll be finishing up research for my masters degree in animation. So, of course, all I plan on doing is read and write and animate and de-stress by having time to draw ponies again! Yay!

Now let's get back on track, it's time to party!

Foggy here. I'm sure you've noticed I haven't really updated properly in a bit. I'm wrapping up a couple projects right now; one animated, one business-y, and one a comic! I'm pretty beat at the end of the day from either staring at the computer or inking, so ponies haven't really happened... but don't worry! The blog isn't dead!

Keep holdin' on! But look, comics! If you're interested at all, I might take some pics of panels once I finish them and put them up on my 'normal' art blog, fogmonster.tumblr.com

Thanks for the birthday wishes, dudes! I spent the night in Edinburgh without my computer so didn’t have a chance to log in yesterday. I’m officially on break for the next few weeks and have some crazy travel plans coming up, but I’ll be around this week at least ;)

Beware the Ides of March

((Not a real update, just felt inspired to scribble this out. March is my favorite time of year. Spring might be on the horizon but the icy grip of winter still lingers. The winds of change are upon us... Don't worry guys, I really do have a more canon answer planned for you two!))

Doodles from today’s stream! Came up with some fun stuff, especially the prim little yellow lady up there, Sugarbowl! It was a collective effort to come up with a new OC. What a preppy pony! Her cutie mark is a sugar hammer (which is apparently a real thing! the more you know…) and she has a twin named Jawbreaker who I simply MUST draw tomorrow.

Today is my not-so-little brother’s 21st birthday. That means for the next 10 days we’re only a year apart and he likes to be especially bothersome because of it. Then… it’s my birthday on the 16th and I turn 23! Muahaha indeed.

You really should try switching to tea, might help with those headaches. Maybe mint with no caffeine?
