For all intensive purposes, he can control others but that power pretty much goes out the window if the victim knows about it
Itās not impossible for him to catch someone off guard but the chances he could hypnotize them (let alone control them) are very slim

Part of me wants to add a whole engagement plot with Paladin but on the other hand, the way I have it set up (as PF and BBās social standing) makes it unlikely that there would be a benefit in an arranged marriage
