I've been away for some time, but today I'm back in support of a friend of mine.
Let's make one thing clear first: the following is a callout for you all to be safe and to avoid engaging with this person.
However, it is also an attempt, whether it feels big or small, to make this and other social media platforms feel safer, so my friend can be back doing what they love most, making art that they and others can enjoy.
Some of you may know or remember an artist who was here on Tumblr under the name of BLurry-Kun. For a considerable amount of time now, they have suffered verbal abuse, stalking, and harassment from a user known here on Tumblr as xxk3vonicaxx.
Keeping my part in this short, Blurry has created a document where he exposes all of Kevonica's wrongdoings. And I'm here to help him spread it.
I would like to end this small help I can provide with the following: No matter how bad a discussion you had with someone, it does not give you the right to actively attack someone. Kevonica, take a step back and seriously think of how the actions you are taking affect others, and if you intend to look back at all of this as the full definition of an abuser.
Thanks for taking the time to read this to everyone else.
Remember this post is not meant to be taken as a call on arms. I just want everyone to be aware that there may be some bad people out there, but you are not alone in dealing with them.
