Feeling 80s nostalgic today. When I was a kid in 1985 I guess, I stole an address book that had Cyndi Lauper's address in it. I took a bus and a train to NYC, rang the door bell. She wasn't home. 12 year old me had great big balls. Anyway, Time After Time is my favorite of Cyndi's videos. I remember watching this video and wanting to kick Dave Wolf's ass.

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL POST. MY POLITICS ARE MY BUSINESS AND NO ONE ELSE'S.

So I saw this truck at a gas station on my way home from work on Christmas Eve. Its a little hard to read everything this mobile library has to offer but, we have a confederate flag, confederate flag stickers, MAGA stickers, Keep America... stickers, many very anti-Obama stickers, fuck liberals, guns gun and more gun stickers... Non of these I found to be offensive, yet I was quite offended. I was surprised. I wasn't offended by the obvious racism or a controversial stand he was taking, I was offended by this person's intent to offend. This truck is strictly on the road to hurt or cause hurt. We are all entitled to our opinions and to express them. The intent here was to offend the readers. The intent was to cause trouble. Even if you agree with it, the intent is for you to cause trouble. This isn't racist hate, this is hate towards all humanity. You don't have to agree with someone to be kind and respectful, I think maybe that's our responsibility as human beings. Opinions are just that, some good points should be able to change an opinion, or at least see another point of view. A little open mindedness can go a long way.

A Christmas Story

Let me start by saying... FUCK THIS! It all started with those assholes not letting me play in their reindeer games... I fucking lettered in 3 sports in college and not some piss in the woods reindeer college, fucking Michigan, I was a fucking Wolverine! "No freak... Get out of here glow plug... Was your mother a tail light? " And mister judge and jury of naughty and nice, what did he do? NOTHING! Contacted my lawyer about a hostile work environment suit. Didn't even mention the pervy elves. Fuck that fat, jolly motherfucker. You know we work for candy canes? The shit fruity ones too, only the prime crew gets peppermint.

So you all heard about the time I got my chance to "save Christmas". That was bull shit. This motherfucker makes shit all year long, intricate 1000 piece electronic shit, do you really think flood lights are too hard for him? Donner was too hung over and no one else wanted work in that weather. "Let the freak do it." Yeah, you know the others did love me when we got back, got my fair share of tail, but the shouts of glee didn't last. There is a real "what have you done for me lately" attitude up here. They all went back to their same old crap. I have had it! I QUIT! Anyone know the Easter Bunny, maybe he's hiring.
