reblog if ur mom is smart and beautiful
This is one of my favorite sites on here because everyone who reblogged it truly believes it because their moms won’t actually see it
One sidequest I really like in Z-A is the one where you have to lend someone a Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour to make a special kind of tea. And he does it and calls it Pantrio tea.
I know a lot of people don't like the elemental monkeys but I actually kind of like them in a weird way. They were originally conceived in BW for the Striaton Gym and Cilan, Chili, and Cress, since aside from the gameplay standpoint of that Gym being a type matchup tutorial, Striaton Gym is a restaurant/cafe and the triplets are waiters/butlers. The designers expressly designed the monkeys with the idea that they're monkeys who can cook: they have hands that look like cooking mittens and they're dexterous monkeys. And they fit the Grass/Fire/Water type trio in a way that complements the cooking process: Pansage prepares the vegetables, Pansear controls the strength of the cooking flame, and Panpour prepares the water for the cooking. That's actually kind of neat.
XY had the monkeys in Kalos and they're very frequently in Lumiose City's restaurants for Triple/Rotation battles especially, which was a nice detail, but Z-A having this sidequest was cool because it leaned into that. Pantrio tea is obviously brewed using Pansage leaves, while Pansear is responsible for the flame to brew the tea, and Panpour is responsible for the water that is the other important component to a delicious tea. It's a really neat combination in a vacuum for tea making, but it leans into what the designers were going for with them in a neat way.

You're allowed to make 'bad' art
"Can I-" YES "I want to-" DO IT "But they said to-" - Doesn't matter
OCs, indulgent, nsfw, abstract, nonsensical, hyper realistic, unfinished, over polished, undercooked, ridiculous style, too many brushes, no control, stick figure, white paper, thick scratchy black marks you can do whatever you want
"they never let me", you have permission "I'm not good enough". you'll get better "I don't know how", grab some resources and learn
nightreign is the most wholesome and hope-filled game in the souls series. take a look at this lore nugget we've been given from the DLC.
In the base game, Guardian's chapter 6 remembrance entry looks like this
After you download The Forsaken Hollows and complete the introduction to unlock the new characters, the Guardian's remembrance will mention them!
although the flow of time is convoluted, and the newcomers are fresh faces to us, the history has been rewritten to have included them from the very start. They are important members of his new flock, just like the others.
Goodness, this is such a lovely detail, especially combined with their new coffins in the Crypt, and both the Scholar and the Undertaker having unique dialogue when spoken to by all the other Nightfarers, or when speaking to the Iron Menial.
Most folks likely wouldn't have been especially surprised if their presence was limited only to the DLC content, but the fact that it isn't, that they've been retroactively cemented as proper inclusions, as much a part of this found family as any Nightfarer, is so good, and reinforces Nightreign's theme of family that much more.
Jolly cooperation is not solely for those earliest to arrive, after all, but rather "a relic of those who came before, left to help those who would come after."
