My initial idea for how the binoculars would work is that you can move around using the mouse, where your pov follows the position of your cursor like so:

But I was thinking on how to make it more immersive and thought about incorporating parallax somehow, to add an extra element to the searching section. I don't think this means I have to abandon the cursor-following element, but I will see what works best. Maybe there's some way to include both? :P

I'll try to stop posting everything I do so there's still a reason to play the test demo when the sniping tutorial's done but none of it's technically part of the actual game I'm planning to make and its all shitposty dialogue but I felt this was pretty cool so here's the opening of the tutorial stage :D
