okay so tragically i am unfamiliar with roblox royale high…. so i've been doing a little bit of research. and i've come to the conclusion that it's like a "girly" (for lack better descriptor) fantasy boarding high school? i think? and so that's how i'm going to be interpreting this prompt lmao.
first i’ll give everyone “roles” then i’ll get into shipping dynamics 🙂↕️
hanbon— fairy princess, obviously. glass-like pink wings. one of the teacher's daughters, like a history of magic teacher maybe. i hate to overuse the hanbon popular girl trope but she just genuinely would thrive in this kind of environment. very glinda vibes. ice magic? or fire magic. maybe both i’ll assume you can have both at magical princess fairy high school. maybe she has rules about not being allowed to date someone until they get permission from the queen or something, but she doesn't follow this rule and dates behind her parent's backs.
anthony— fairy, maybe a runaway prince?? and he has like super distinct yellow wings so he has to keep them hidden. if anyone finds out he's the prince then his parents are gonna find out and he's going to be sent back home. maybe has light powers to match his yellow wings? and maybe hes from a family of people with dark powers and he was weird because he was the only one born with light powers instead?
coy— mermaid. runs a secret society at the school. maybe theres kinds of magic or spells or history that they aren't normally learning in school that he wants to research and slowly spread awareness about. maybe theres a way that mermaids can get themselves wings and theyre working to achieve that. and tails for fairies. something to that effect. take like the dark academia aesthetic then turn it pastel green and thats coy in this world i feel. fire magic. maybe communicates with other club members through smoke signals that could be interesting.
will— rare fairy mermaid hybrid with plant magic. if hanbon is glinda then will is the elphaba to match. him being both a fairy AND a mermaid is incredibly rare and so people hold him to much higher standards because they think he's meant to be inheritably great or something. maybe he's a chosen one in some prophecy so even teachers and stuff sometimes get odd about him. but he does well by everyone and is incredibly successful in the things he really cares about.
okay and now shipping stuff:
anthwill—anthony is broody asf and will just wants him to even look at him. it starts out small with little love notes but eventually will starts using plant magic to make flowers grow out of anthony’s pens or from behind his ear and stuff. and anthony is VERY tsundere about it but eventually caves and will is sooooo excited about it.
bunch of lovers— for seperate reasons (needing to be alone, working in it, just wanting to see the plants, someone’s usual study spot, whatever) they all end up in this magic greenhouse thing and they all meet each other and get into one of those really deep kind of conversations about life and meaning and stuff. and they’re all like damn i really fw all of you guys we need to see each other again. so they start weekly meeting up in the greenhouse. and they kinda fall in love perchance 🙂↕️
p!canbon— they sit together in one of their classes and pass notes talking about literally anything. sometimes, when they’re doing it to gossip, after class they’ll leave together and find a courtyard or something to keep chatting in. hanbon’s “knowing everything about everyone” mixed with coy’s humor i think is a really good mix for this.
hanpo—maybe a romeo and juliet kind of story here where their families hate each other because of some feud hundreds of years ago. and so anthony is making EXTRA effort to hide his wings from her because she can't know hes the prince of that family.
popiso—anthony accidently finds coy’s secret society meetings just by going out on a walk by like a beach late at night and seeing the smoke signals. and he sees like a dozen fairies and mermaids all meeting by the water with a mountain of books and he doesn’t really know what to make of that.
willbon—they’re both really well known throughout the school for very different reasons, and so they were both under the assumption that they wouldn’t get on well if they ever met. but maybe they got paired together for a magical school project or something and INSTANTLY hit it off. will develops a crush on her and is burdened by the idea that she is way too cool for him, but is proved wrong when he eventually realizes she’s a massive dork too.
willcoy—will is one of the first people coy seeks out for his secret society because 1. the mermaid fairy thing but also 2. he’s incredibly smart and 3. he’s very pretty. at first will is hesitant to join and tells him no, and coy lets it go, but maybe will shows up anyway a few weeks later. and they enter this sort of academic rivals kind of dynamic and it’s kinda buzzy idk.
