While I do think Sylvie Win is versatile, I don't understand why people are using the Hope Award to justify that... she won with being good at ballet and leggy contemporary since that's what YAGP cares about, it's not like YAGP cares or even watches dancers do their hip hop, jazz, MT, tap, ballroom, etc. Do people know how YAGP works? 💀

Her movement quality is AMAZING and she is literally a prodigy- but YAGY looks at ballet and contemporary. If press play is looking from a jazz perspective they could go with someone else. I think it’s anyone’s game- esp since press play is trying to be “different”
