So these past 2 Girl fight challenges have been fun , cause I've won both weeks !! <3 I won both the main and safety challenges for Coven Girls week ( thanks to my lovely team <3 ) and this week for Lolita Girls I won the main challenge !! ❤️

Inspired by the book "The Shape of Sex: Nonbinary Gender from Genesis to the Renaissance" by Leah DeVun and specifically the tangent about the transgressive sex of demons, prominently captured in illuminated manuscripts like this:
Chaotic and rebellious beings, unconstrained, like angels, by the sexual duality of humans, demons violate the hierarchical dualities of active and passive, spiritual and corporeal, rational and emotional, male and female.
And, along with their shifting nature, they threaten to shake anyone they interact with out of their place in the divine order.
By "interact" I of course mean - on the level on which the entire divine order of hierarchical dualities rests. On the level of "the most fundamental distinction between humans"
Male vs female, active vs passive, head of the household vs family, lord vs vassal, church vs believer, god vs human, human vs beast - this entire order is transgressed if a demon shifts from active to passive or the other way around, and thus shifts the role of their mortal partner as well.
This terrifying - and tantalizing - possibility endlessly fascinated medieval authors, who weaved transgressive, contradictory images into contemporary depictions of demons, drawing on comparisons between lust and gluttony (mouth and vagina) and a wide range of interwoven phallic and yonic imagery.

i am banned from eating my herring inside. they make me eat it on the smoking area by the loading dock, under the theory that it already smells bad there. but it was raining today which was preventing my breakfast, so i was feeling sad and hungry and then i realized that there was a large cardboard box in the dumpster from a previous delivery. like a fridge sized box. so i fished it out of the dumpster, then tipped it on its side and had a nice little cardboard cave to watch the rain and eat my fish in. which was a great experience. very soothing. very zen. at least until the security guard from the day before stepped outside to smoke. then i tried hiding from him by crawling deeper in the box, which unfortunately did not work. instead he saw a sort of damp sniveling pale hairless creature eating fish in a box, and delivered the verbal killshot of "good morning, mr. smeagol." which is how my day was ruined before 8 am.
I wasn’t gonna talk about it but one of my parents died the other day and the weirdest part has been not talking about it, specifically because they sucked and I kind of don’t care and that’s not a very hashtag relateable thing to bring up around the office so I’m just walking around at work rn like “nah not much going on hbu”
As a “dark humour is my coping mechanism” person I would describe this feeling as “children’s birthday clown with a flashbang grenade” and I gotta say, the deeply fucked up power is intoxicating
