Welcome to Part 2 of Roadie polycule date day adventures (after their lovely day at the beach)! Today, Romance has corralled all of the roadies to spend the day together at one of his favorite places to nerd out: The Renaissance Faire!
Of course, each of them have their own unique experiences at the faire: 👇👇
Romance: King of nerds, this man gets dressed in an all-out ren faire garb, complete with elf ears, shoulder cape, leather boots that cost far too much money, and of course a hat with a gigantic feather. He is friends with many of the faire's actors, musicians, vendors, and other staff. Ro is always happy to provide any faire newcomers with a tour or directions if they're lost and can't find the privies.
Jinu: Is "dragged along" to the faire with Ro every time. Was convinced to buy elf ears and a matching hat (with an equally ridiculously large feather) after Ro practically begged him to, telling him how fun it would be to match. Jinu ended up buying the belt, pouch (very useful!), and cloak all on his own. Jinu always has a copy of the faire map and event schedule, even if every attempt at planning their day is thwarted by an over-eager Romance who loves to live in the moment.
Abby: A seasoned ren faire veteran with how often he chaperones many of his siblings/cousins/niblings/neighbor kids here. With the help of some very crafty littles amongst his gigantic family, Abby sports a homemade "Beer Knight" get-up and is everyone's hype man at the faire. Aside from his size and costume, Abby often easily picked out in the crowds whenever he shouts a hearty "Huzzah!" as he chugs yet another beer out of his drinking horn.
Mystery: The cryptid thrives at the ren faire, as it is home to many odd creatures and he can embrace his more feral tendencies. Mystery somehow knows most of the faire performers by name, and each of them easily recognize the drum tech meandering the crowds. Mystery is also the first one to spot when a fellow faire-goer needs to go to the first aid station. No one will be getting heat stroke on his watch!
Baby: While he refuses to wear a costume, Baby loves to people watch all those who do. He particularly enjoys the joust, cheering whenever the knights go to a sudden death match. He also is quite susceptible to purchasing an obscene amount of dice sets, card packs, pins, keychains, or other small knick-knacks sold at many of the faire vendors.
