Batjokes is so good because it throws the manners & morals of a very good person (Bruce) out of the window. I love writing Bruce desperately in love with Joker cause I know how much it hurts him & scares him, but also love the idea of J wanting to be a lil better (just a lil bit)

Also love the idea of Joker wanting to get better (mentally) so he can stay with Bruce. I love when he doesn't change at all, but gets just a lil better, just for Bat's sake. Batjokes works cause they are two deeply broken people trying their best (or worst), they complete each other
