We've shown a few detailed pics of the new Eido CF previously, here it is in all its refined beauty. 7 fluted translucent porcelain shades suspended from a central 'knuckle' which houses the junction box and echoes the elegance of the shades, the ceiling rose takes the same form and completes the look. Even though we see it every day here at Porcelain Bear, the sublime beauty of translucent porcelain remains one of the most seductive materials through which to diffuse light for living, dining and bedroom spaces and hospitality interiors. From the very latest of the additions and variations to our catalogue, the translucent porcelain Eido, we designed and hand made our first Eido pendant in 2008, is now available in a beautifully detailed wall sconce version, complete with a miniature of itself as its wall bracket.. #attentiontodetail. The beautifully detailed @smalls_bar in Yarra Place, South Melbourne. This interior features our Cloche pendant lights, two of which are shown here. Also for this project we produced a bespoke 24kt gold Cloche wall sconce and the centerpiece for the space, the porcelain clad bar façade and top. The Porcelena insulated porcelain beaker was designed by Gregory ten years ago this year. Its outer 'skin' was based on diamond buttoned upholstery, a tribute to his father's craft, giving the beaker a sense of comfort while providing grip. The double walled construction means the user doesn't feel the heat of the beverage inside whilst also maintaining the temperature of the beverage for longer. In 2005 Gregory was the first in Australia to use this technology with studio ceramics.. The original patterns were made by SLS, an early version of 3D printing. To celebrate Porcelena's tenth birthday, Porcelain Bear are releasing this beautifully considered design as a limited numbered edition of 20 only in each of three vintage metallic finishes; copper, platinum and 24kt gold in each of two sizes; 250ml & 350ml.
