10:30am (morning)
It was a beautiful summer day, the sun was out, a nice cooling breeze was blowing and the grass was green..the perfect set up for a walk in the park! You head over to ur neighbour's house to ask if they want to join! You feel a slightly stronger breeze but shrug it off as the wind coming in..the sky still looked blue so surely there wasn't a storm brewing..
You knock softly on the door, the faint sound of a cat meowing can be heard as soft footsteps walk up to the door..and who opens the door? Toby! He was wearing a plaid forest green button up underneath a soft khaki brown overall dress paired with white stockings and brown Mary Jane's
As he notices Y/N (you the reader) he smiles softly, braces glinting in the sunlight as he spoke gently:
"Oh!- why hello love..you doing okay this morning? We just were going to leave to head to the town square..."
*you respond saying you wanted to ask if he wanted to come with to the park with you, maybe midnight would like some outside time?*
*just before toby can answer sam walks up in a black tanktop and some green camofluage jean shorts, holding a fresh cup of chilled green tea-*
"The park sounds great! I could use some exercise..being stuck indoors due to the heat wave we had last week sucked!"
*Toby nods as he picks up their black calico kitty who had the cutest strawberry shortcake collar up into his arms, who promptly meowed like she agreed*

*as they both walked with you behind them, the cat meowing occasionally like it was noting their surroundings, you notice Toby has a lanyard around his neck tucked into his shirt, it was a cute nyan cat pattern with a few pins, making you curious as you sped up a little to see, the pins were pride pins! A aro-ace one, a genderfluid one, a demisexual and pansexual one and a pronouns pin! How interesting:0 there was also a few disability pins and a cute cat pin..wowie it's like seeing a glimpse into who Toby was..you wonder what else you might learn about him as ur friendship grows?*
*you look around and notice cute chalk doodles around the sidewalk, with blooming flowers peeking out between the cracks..it really brought some color into the plain Grey of the concrete*
*while you were distracted thinking, sam had stopped you two, pointing at something-* "guys..I think we better head back.." *she said with a almost disappointed tone as overhead above the large park was some grey clouds rolling in..uh oh!*
*you look up and notice ..you're a little bummed out since you guys barely made it to the park but when you hear a loud rumble of thunder you flinch! Oh no!*
*then rain starts falling! You three quickly rush back as it slowly goes from a light drizzle to heavy rain fall! You all make it back in time luckily not to wet..Toby looks upset and Sam is mildly irritated..they both hated being wet*

*as you all head inside Toby ushers the kitty to go dry off, sam wipes up any water that got inside , before lighting the fireplace as she shuts the door, Toby looks over at you noting ur frightened expression as the rain thunders outside the windows..muffled but loud enough to scare you a little..you never did like storms*
🫂*Toby being the sweetheart he is senses ur distress, as he himself had a fear of thunderstorms..due to his fear of loud sounds and the discomfort of being wet from rain..he walks over to you and hugs you gently, the scent of his strawberry cake perfume comforts you..*❤️
*you find urself slowly slipping, thinking becoming fuzzy as you relax..his warmth and soothing touch was making you feel all soft and cozy*❤️*little did you know he knew you were comfortable enough to calm down and regress in his arms..since he to often would become small once he was comforted after a stressing moment*❤️
*unfortunately another loud strike of thunder had startled you bad enough you accidentally peed a little..oh no!! D: and that made you start crying...at the sound of ur tears both sam and Toby went into caregiver mode*
*Toby carries you into their bathroom as he helps you change, he offers his onesie..a slightly to big SpongeBob one and clean undergarments with a pull up just in case, as he carries you over to the couch where he gently lays with you, sam carries over a plushie for you and sits down turning on a cartoon to drown out the rain outside, both were expecting this luckily so they were prepared..Toby offers his favorite paci..he normally doesn't share but he thinks you need it..he still remembers how he got bullied as a kid for owning one at ten years old but it still soothes him all these years later....even with how horrible the bullying got as he grew up to the point he was scarred mentally...but he stayed strong..*
*he had cleaned it just for you..offering it over gently with a soft pop as it settles*
