why do people glamorize suffering? why is that women are expected to go through hell and back just to have a decent man? like okay, congratulations to her that she was able tough it out and get her ring but when will people realize that ride or die culture should not be about staying in emotionally, mentally, or physically abusive relationships….it’s literally not fair to women to expect them to go through so much while their GROWN ass man “gets his shit together” we’re not your parents, we aren’t obligated to stay around while you grow up.
