I have not posted in what seems like years, but I have many life updates.

I got a promotion at work and have been working nonstop it seems, hints at the lack of posts. My place of work went on strike last summer, it went well, although many of us got sun burned, it was a fun experience and we got some of our wants met by the company. I have made so many friends working, and I love my job even if it is overwhelming at times being in charge of a whole department.

I went to California last January, then Hawaii in May and October. I fell in love with the ocean, meeting people, staying in hostels, and just living in the moment.

I am doing all the things younger me was dreaming of, and much more.

Being excited to text someone, texting them, they reply, you wait to text back so it is not right away, forgetting, remembering 5 hours later at 2 am when it is to late to text them with out it being weird.

I took time to be human this weekend

left my phone at home for hours to explore, breath fresh air and be present in the moment.
