pH paper, Master cleanse tequila, MDF, enamel
pH sensitive paper (ask the Internet) stretched it over a table that I built to have an affinity with this Bosch painting I like.
The paper was a light acid washed blue in its neutral state.
To change the color of the paper, an acid or base has to be introduced. So to complete the table's design I made a batch of Master Cleanse Tequila.
MASTER CLEANSE TEQUILA
A billion squeezed lemons
Maple syrup
Cayenne pepper
Tequila.
When dripped, spit, or spilled onto the table, the paper is activated/turns pink from the acidity.

A little while ago I participated in a group show at LAX gallery in Culver City. The show was called "On Forgery; Is One Thing Better Than Another?
I made a majorly artisanal version of 'Mello Yello' soda. The soda is kind of like Mountain Dew in that its a soda that also professes a certain jolt of caffeine.
