the intimacy of βyou're the first person i've told about thisβ
How the people around you shape your life, mindset and self esteem
Most of us think weβre in full control of our thoughts, but weβre influenced way more than we realize. Just being around someone exposes you to how they think, talk, react, and live. You donβt consciously agree with it your brain just observes. That exposure starts to feel normal. Complaining sounds reasonable. Settling sounds practical. Cynicism sounds realistic. Familiarity feels safe to the brain
The tricky part is that this doesnβt happen all at once. You start repeating similar thoughts without noticing. You justify things the same way. Your standards quietly shift to match the environment youβre in. Then one day you realize your routines are different, your tolerance is different and your expectations for yourself are lower or higher than they used to be. It can show up as a feeling of βI donβt feel like myself anymoreβ even though nothing dramatic happened
This is how influence actually works. Thoughts turn into habits, habits turn into a lifestyle & lifestyle turns into results. Your brain is wired to mirror before it evaluates. It learns through repetition and proximity, not logic. Thatβs why motivation spreads. So does negativity. Discipline spreads. So does complacency. You donβt need someone to convince you of anything to be influenced by them. Repeated exposure is enough
βRemove yourself from those one-sided friendships where you are the only one putting in the effort.β

Repeat to yourself: My life is great. I am great. Everything is happening for me. All of the things that I am currently experiencing are only taking me to the next level of my life. I am growing. I am getting better. I choose to believe in sudden miracles and unexpected blessings.
Action produces information. When you donβt know what to do, do anything. Clarity comes from movement. Every action gives you feedback. You canβt think your way into a perfect path, but you can act your way into clarity. So instead of asking yourself if itβs the wrong step, ask yourself what you can learn from it
You want to know how people tell you to start and opportunities will find you? Movement boosts blood flow and oxygen to the brain which increases energy and mental clarity. It releases dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine to improve mood, focus and motivation, while lowering cortisol to reduce mental clutter. Even light activity, like walking, enhances memory, sparks new ideas, and breaks overthinking loops, giving your brain the chemistry it needs to think more clearly
That shift changes your energy, mood, and how you carry yourself, which directly influences how people and opportunities respond to you. Clearer thinking helps you make better decisions, notice possibilities you might have overlooked & take actions you wouldnβt have taken if you were stuck in mental fog
When your brain is firing optimally and your nervous system is calmer, you naturally project more confidence and openness which are qualities that tend to attract people, ideas and situations aligned with where you want to go. In other words, movement changes your inner world first and your outer world adjusts to match it
Do anything :)

You still have time. Time to change your wardrobe. Time to get divorced and married again. Time to change majors. Time to learn a trade from scratch. Time to pay off debts. Time to travel. Time to love and be loved. You still have your whole life ahead. Whether you're 19 or 66. You still have so much time. But you have to take it.
βI used to believe that people determine their own lives. We were in control, commanding our futures, choosing our spouses, picking professions, responsible for the decisions that shape the course of our lives. And yet, there is one force more powerful than free will: our unconscious.β
