Whiskey on the rocks, restoration in the bathroom... Started with my Seawitch face mask (honestly, because it matches the book I'm reading). I love the Seawitch but I don't use it often. It's a gorgeous blue color and smells amazing, and it uses algae, kelp, and kaolin clay to restore, detox, and promote agelessness (let's be honest---we can all use some extra promotion in this category!). It IS a harsher mask, and I don't leave it on for longer than five minutes. Honestly, that's all it needs! Now, here's the story with my hair. Last Friday, I got a little excited about a picture on Pinterest, and I had it dyed purple. Don't get me wrong---it's a gorgeous color, and I pull it off well, but my husband was wary about me getting my whole head done, so I didn't. But I wish I had. So here we are, three days later, and I have a goal tonight. The first (most important) goal is to restore the areas that needed to be bleached, because my curls are misbehaving and because my hair despises bleach. The second goal is to try to get the purple to bleed into the other areas to blend it a little. I know this sounds crazy, but I want the most natural-looking purple hair possible. Tea Tree & Neem deep-cleaning hair mask in my roots. Minty, healing, growth-promoting mask that feels amazing on my scalp and deep-cleans while restoring natural oils and moisturizing. Posh Life Coconut Oil saturating the rest...I really soaked it allllll up in there. While many oils just coat the hair, coconut oil actually restores damaged/sad hair by providing nutrient-rich vitamins and penetrating the hair shaft to repair damage and protect against future damage. And, hopefully, make my purple bleed. I love that I don't have to worry about either of these options stripping my hair of color, either-no sulfates mean they're color-safe. Shabinga! So, let's soak with my Mermaid Mix AMU in the bath and get that seaweed and kelp all up on the rest of my body, and let's sip our whiskey and cheers the fact that Perfectly Posh makes EVERY day a little better. www.perfectlyposh.com/lyssieb
