South America 2018

I recently learned that I was accepted into an artist residency program in Cusco, Peru and I am so excited!!! I’m going to be studying Peruvian textiles, learning to weave on a backstrap loom, experimenting and continuing my exploration of weaving cloth as a fundamental human experience. My husband will be joining me when I finish at the end of June and from there we’re going to explore more of Peru and Bolivia. I’ve never been to South America so any tips would be much appreciated.
