Thank you! Batter or mix is always the worst thing to dispose of.. You never know what to do with it.  It would be convenient if my glasses were edible, I could just eat them for a light snack...But, that would mean i would have to buy a lot of them.  What classes are you taking? Sounds like a plan. Yeah? You think so? I don’t know if I’d be any good at it honestly. 

It does, then i can see your dad too. Seems like a while since i was around your house.  I do, you can see the end product in baking or cooking. I think you’ll like achieving new recipes. It’s not the level of your ability, it’s the process. You can give it a try, right? I can bring some of my cookbooks round and some ingredients. If nothing else, you can have fun making a mess.

How were your holidays, Gracie?

Unfortunately to all the men in my life, i only ice men made out of dough.  Yes, Sam and Mike really do have a lot of abs.  Who says they are not low fat? You’ve been to my diner, I love using healthy and natural ingredients--However, you can’t taste the difference. 

They were really nice. I always miss my mom at this time of year, but Christian and i had a nice time.  I did some charity work at the local center, went to see the old lady down the street with a little gift.Speaking of gifts, thank you. I hope you liked mine too, it was a really quirky tie but i hope it made you smile.

Unfortunately, yes.  I think all you can do is talk to Samantha and make sure she knows what is unacceptable, when it is okay to refuse service, and how to put Ryder on speed dial.

The take-out extension sounds like the perfect add-on to your business! If you need help with the expansion, I’m available part time, if you want.  Remember before the kids when I used to work at that museum as a curator?  There were a lot of operations responsibilities for that job, though I know it’s not the same industry as yours.

What exactly is a lot of work with Nick?  He is a sweetheart, but that doesn’t mean he’s the right fit for everyone.  And you are NOT too old to date.  It can be frustrating, I know, to be sorting out who is right or not, what you want.  There’s no rush, love.

I think that’s adorable, all of them wanting to say good morning. I understand though, sometimes you just want a cuddle with your man. Maybe you need a day vacation? Yes, I might do that.Ensure that she is aware that she can come to me and she shouldn’t feel embarrassed. Gosh, Ryder on speed dial, he already calls in ‘to flex his muscles’. I’ll ask him if we can put him on the shop phone. Doesn’t it? I am really excited, but it’s a lot of work.  I would love you to come help, even if it’s just spending an afternoon sampling tea suppliers? There is a lot of people i have to meet and things i have to purchase. I think having you around every so often will make it so much more fun. Erm, finding times when we are free? He is a sweetheart. I am not too old? I have a son in his senior year.  I feel like there is a rush, because i don’t want to end up alone… I know Christian will never leave me altogether, but he should have his life too…You know?

Drew doesn’t eat enough! LOL.  Hah, that’s sweet of you to say about Sam.  Yes, I think he has figured out the game of life to a good degree, hasn’t he?  I wouldn’t say I caught him, though - I got lucky that we were in the right place at the right time…twice, in spite of what they say about lightning.

It is too bad that you have had to get used to some harassment, that it comes with the territory.  Samantha seems like a sensible girl though, I’m sure if she runs into anything she can’t handle, she would tell you about it.

Aw, I’m sorry you’re having some sadness about Christian coming of age.  Has he decided where he’d like to go for school?  Are applications in yet?  Though we’re obviously not in your shoes, Sam does say every few months to me, “We only have 13 more years with them!” I have no idea what I will do with him when the time actually comes. :\

I hadn’t thought about how hard it might be, both you and Nick owning your own businesses. That’s a lot to work a new relationship around.  How is he different? You don’t sound too thrilled over him, but maybe it’s still early?  It sounds like you’re having a nice time while you figure it out.  I’m glad there’s no drama and such, at least.  Is he the first boyfriend you’ve had since Hunter?  We were all rooting for you and that one, I have to say, though he seems so happy with Jay that we’ve all been proven wrong!

Oh wow! A fussy eater? He is a good guy, a great friend and he is super lucky he got you too. Sam is so able to figure out things in a great way-- A less stressful way.  It was meant to be! Your relationship is so romantic. Comes with the gender too, doesn’t it? I hope so. I want to protect my employees.   He hasn’t decided. It’s that horrible moment when I don’t want to pressure him, but i want to help. He will get into anywhere he wants to go, I just hope it’s not too far. I believe he has probably sent some in, I did give him money for application submissions. I don’t want him to leave, because he is my baby boy and it’s been 17 wonderful years. Lots of ice cream will help and adopting a puppy--maybe a cat? I feel like i have to get a pet to fill my house. Ha. Yeah, i am expanding too. I bought this old florist and have been spending time overseeing the building. It’s going to be more of a take out coffee and tea store. I was looking into different blends of tea and coffee --Pastries too.  It’s all a lot of work, but the dates have been nice. Nick is so eager to please? I know that sounds odd, but Hunter was more firm, supportive, gave what was needed? I don’t know, maybe i am too old to date?  I like Nick, he is a sweetheart, i am just not overcome with desire? I went on a few dates since Hunter, but one reminded me of Jake and the other was so no. Yeah... Jay is a darling too. I am just happy Hunter has found the other side of his coin.

Well I swear Troy eats and Drew grows from it, it’s been like that since they were babies.  And LIFE is a game to Sam :D  A Ryder+Sam pie-eating contest would be disgusting, hahaha!

Ugh, sorry about the slimeballs.  Glad it was fun otherwise and you’ll get another contract with them.  Pumpkin spice policeman, hooray!

I’m good, just busy with the kids and trying to fit in some creative writing and exercise when I can.  

How are things otherwise?  Things okay with Nick, still?  How long has it been now?

Now that’s a phenomena. What happen’s if Drew eats, does Troy grow?  That is so true, it’s a game and he has the instructions. Yet, that is one of the best things about him. You certainly caught a winner.  Yes...It would be, but they would be so happy. haha.    It’s okay...I am sort of getting used to it, that sound dreadful, but some people do think i am waitress in my own cafe and try to get handy. I mainly just worry about people like Samantha who are working for me.

 I really think the media have been getting the pumpkin spice stereotype wrong.

I miss Christian...That’s been difficult? I don’t know how to describe it other than, i know he is growing up, but we are also friends.  Nick? It’s been a couple of months. I like him, he is a busy man, but he is safe? I can’t say I am overcome for him, but he is very nice, clean, likes my cooking... He is just very different to all the men i’ve dated, not a bad thing, just different.

Haha,well, children are growing and are bottomless pits. Honestly, i have no idea where they put it… Sam see’s it almost as a game to eat pie then? Imagine shoving Ryder in a seat next to him, they’ll have one massive pie off. It was fun… If not overwhelming, there was a lot of important male faces there and I got recommended for the catering. I didn’t like some of the guys hitting on me, it was uncomfortable? I do think they want me for the next conference… How are you? –Also strange realization, but i think all cops drink are pumpkin spice lattes.
