Use 1337x.to rarbg or rutracker, highly moderated public torrent trackers, because Pirate Bay has long been shut down, unmoderated, and cloned by some shady actors AND use Mullvad VPN (or any other vpn but mullvad is the best definitely) to protect your ip address while you torrent, bind it to qbittorrent and do not use utorrent anymore either because it is littered with adware.

OR if you don’t want to pay for a VPN, use direct download or streaming sites. Please y’all just take one pass through on the r/piracy or r/freemediaheckyeah mega threads to find whatever you want for free and also not infect your computer with Trojan viruses.

Another fic bind! This time it's the absolutely gorgeous Keepsakes Hold Power by dustandstatic, as well as a handful of other lovely ZagThan fics by the same author. I was seriously blown away by how beautiful these stories were.

As far as the bind goes, this was...not the book I was planning to make, but it's the one that got made. I wanted to do a black book cloth spine with an elegant red paper cover, but for the life of me I could not find one I liked. I had this black marble instead, so I went with it.

I especially had fun with the typesetting on this one though, as well as painting the spine~

The good news is, you can! @renegadepublishing has been such a great and welcoming community/resource, and you don't even really need a ton of supplies to start.

The founder of Renegade has a great resource on binding fanfic, and both DAS Bookbinding and Sea Lemon DIY on YouTube have really good tutorials for getting started. It can feel like a lot at first, but it's so much fun!

it's come to my attention that a lot of people don't know about bluemaxima's flashpoint and genuinely think they'll never be able to play their favorite 00s internet games ever again so i just want to remind everyone that flashpoint is a huge internet flash game preservation project that allows you to play just about any internet flash game/animation despite the death of flash. if they've got it in their database (and they probably do) you can play it. go forth and drink in the 00s nostalgia

SQUISHABLE SPA DAY

This guest blog post is by Squishable fan Xavier F.!

Your squishable is sad, dingy, and smells funny. What do you do? I’m here to tell you how to give your squishy pal a spa day all his own! All you will need are the following:

Any brand of body or baby wipes (I use Scott’s)

Baby powder or baking soda

A brush (preferably one with the soft bristles or fine-toothed)

Vacuum cleaner with brush attachment

Spot cleaner such as Oxy Clean (optional - used for tough stains more than regular maintenance)

Snuggles

First, wipe down your squishable with the body/baby wipes. This will rid him or her of most of the oils, smells, and dirt particles attached to the fur. You may need to use more than one wipe if your squishable is particularly dirty. Afterwards, it will be a little damp, so if there are any stains - or if you just want to brighten the white on your squishy - this is the perfect time to use your oxygen cleaner. Just follow the instructions on the container for spot cleaning. You will need to wait a bit while your squishable air dries. Don’t use a blow dryer or any artificial means of heat drying as this will melt the fur. You can brush him while you wait. It helps to brush a few times to really separate all the fur strands. Once your squishable is dry, apply baby powder or baking soda all over its body. Don’t use too much, or the smell will be overwhelming! Just a little bit goes a long way. This will break up any remaining oils and dirt, and make him smell even fresher! Be sure to brush it all through his fur. Remember to always be gentle while brushing so you don’t pull out any fur or tear any seams. Brushing also is a good weekly regimen to keep your squishable looking fresh. Once you have thoroughly brushed all the powder through his fur, use the brush attachment on the hose of your vacuum cleaner to go over every inch of your squishable. This will suck up all the remaining powder and dirt, and will “re-fluff” him too! It also helps smooth down the fur strands. Voila! You have finished cleaning and pampering your squishable. Sometimes, the vacuum can scare them, so be sure to give your squishable extra snuggles when you are done! Stay squishy, my friends!

Neil thinks he’s found a good match for Kevin in Andrew: he’s good at exy, he can tolerate Kevin at his worst, and he always turns up whenever Kevin and Neil are out and about. Neil is pretty sure Andrew is half in love with Kevin already.

Andrew is, obviously, very much into Neil.
