Potato Potato goes all-vegan for June 23rd! 

You may know that our award-winning, mobile fry factory already serves some mean vegan green chile and brown gravy but next Thursday will feature an all-vegan lunch menu (11a-2p next door to 112 E Boulder St.) to include Soba Noodle Salad (pictured (poorly)), Sweet Potato Ginger Bisque (served cold), BBQ Jackfruit Poutine and house-made vegan "cheese" sauces for full-on poutine & green chile fries.

Downtown student lunch special launches

Goodbye to CHEFS

Today, we’re setting up (on the “down-low”) at 5070 Centennial Blvd. from 11a-2p. 

That’s the parking lot of the very-soon-to-be-defunct (but profitable and wildly popular) CHEFS Catalog cookware business where I’ve been working over the last two winters. At the end of this week, many people (myself included) are losing their jobs because of a seemingly arbitrary decision on the part of CHEFS’ corporate ownership (Target). At the end of the month, most of the rest of the 180 Colorado Springs citizens who are also CHEFS employees will lose their jobs, too. 

It’s a bummer for all of the employees but also the customers around the U.S. (most of whom are 50+) who have come to rely on the quality of merchandise and excellent service provided by the folks at CHEFS. Those folks are kinda left spinning in the wind.*

So today we wanted to poke a little fun at Target, have a laugh with our colleagues at CHEFS and also prove to many of them that I actually do this potato thing by serving lunch during this one-time-only MENU LIQUIDATION SALE! (CHEFS Employees get a special menu item and a discount today.)
