Mark shakes his head, his face clouding over briefly with something darker; sad. But in a flash it’s gone and the twin is pressing another polite smile to his lips. “You’re not annoying. I like having you around.” The silence encroaches on them again. The silence is usually comforting to him, but not today. He’s not sure why, but today he needs this distraction. Mark’s gaze darts back to her when she speaks again, but his gaze drops to the floor thoughtfully. He nods his head slowly, he understands what she’s saying. He knows what it’s like. Except the difference between them is that he’s not hiding like her. Sure, they have estates all over the world they could disappear to, hide out in, but he’s never once changed his name. “Come with you?” He asks, looking momentarily surprised and maybe a little unsure. “Okay.” He can’t help it, but he’s happy she asked.

A faint blush reaches her cheeks at his words, "Thanks. I like you being around as well." She gives a light nod of her head and there was genuine sincerity in her voice. Davina felt she needed to start pulling her weight around here and though she had been doing things like cloaking spells along with the occasional tracking spell, she felt that wasn't enough - but now was not the time to think about all of that. When he questions her about coming with her she nods eagerly, "Of course." She says which only made a wide smile form across her lips once he agreed to coming with her. "Wanna go now? We can stop and grab something quick to eat afterwards. My treat." She says while putting the grimoire down on the sofa she was sitting on before.

     or to be exact, 1 year, 2 months, 15 days, & 666+             followers later and i’m STILL HERE: say whuh!?

I think 666 followers is a pretty badass number that should be celebrated, which probably makes me a satanist, but we’ll ignore that last bit. Somehow, six hundred people have found their way here and for that, thank you so much for following the crazy antics of a hybrid mother and her fun times with the Mikaelson’s in New Orleans! I can only hope I’ve done her justice thus far and that you’ll all stick around for more. Thank you, Mel, for pushing me to start this in the first place. You’re my squishy for life – which is why I’m being selfish and keeping you mine and mine alone. Below, you’ll find some of the great people I follow, have gotten the chance to know & adore, have challenged or taught me as a writer,  and probably stalk from behind my computer screen! Mark.

"No, it’s ok." Mark responds almost too quickly. A hint of a smile quirks the corner of his lips up into a friendly expression. He’s not always the best at expressing his true feelings, but he’s trying. His eyes dart to the fire as she extinguishes it, the silence of the house now creeping into the room; filling it up. Mark watches as she begins gathering her things. He doesn’t want her to go, but he doesn’t want to beg. Blue eyes raise to meet hers curiously. "Daniella." He repeats the name as if testing the way it feels on his tongue. It’s a nice name. "I like it," He admits as me moves closer to the girl. "But why would you need a public persona?"

   His response made her pause and offer a soft smile, "I just.. I know how you and Luke tend to like your space from time to time and I just don't wanna hover or be annoying." She admits before bringing her right hand up to tuck some hair behind her hair. She stayed there in the now silent room a few feet away from him before he spoke of her public persona of a name which caused her gaze to come up and meet his own, "I already have people looking for me and using my real name in public isn't the best thing for me to do. I am also getting my hair color a little lighter later. --Do you.. wanna come with me?"

“Who cares about reversal when you can do this?” He questioned as he rose to his feet and stared at the hole in the wall before dragging his eyes on over to her. A smile reached his lips and he stepped towards the hole. “That was amazing.”

    "Because I have to fix it. Otherwise I will have to fix it myself or pay for having it get fixed." She says as she watches him move towards the large, gaping hole in the wall. She chews viciously on her bottom lip but pauses when he speaks of how amazing it was, "You.. you think so?"
