(( OOC: I don’t want everyone thinking it was some dramatic reason, so I’ll just say we want different things in life, and we’re happy being friends. However, I’ll bring up that, as a general rule, if someone chooses not to share certain details of their life online, it’s important to take that as them wanting to have some privacy. I know I share a lot about myself on this blog, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t need or want some separation. There’s a lot that I don’t share about my personal life here, and if I am comfortable sharing something, I will breach the topic myself. Please be courteous when asking questions and realize that expecting answers for personal or private matters isn’t the right approach to take. Let the people you follow online to have the separation they need and allow them to reserve discussion of sensitive topics for the people that they know and trust. ))

Ok, one last soapbox post before we get back to regularly scheduled HP shitposting. 

This community has a bullying problem and it has to fucking end.

I’ve been here just over three years and have seen so many blogs bullied off this site by anons, we’ve lost incredible content creators. There are multiple blogs who continuously cop awful stuff on a daily or weekly basis and the fact that they’re still here stands testament to their strength and resilience, but they shouldn’t have to face that every time they want to enjoy something they love. 

Here’s the thing that pisses me off the most, we may feel big, but we’re a tiny bubble of Tumblr. Which means that these anons, the ones who know these blogs, how the community works, the names of other blogs, etc? 

They’re from within our community. This isn’t a “random internet troll” thing. 

Which makes me furious. I don’t want you here, not on my blog, not in my community, not near my friends. I would rather have no followers than have followers that are going to attack my friends and blogs I admire for their beliefs. 

If you have blogs you’ve blocked because of bullying or hate, please let me know who they are, on anon or otherwise, I don’t want them following me.
