I am a CSA survivor who was primarily groomed through adults I met on AO3. Regardless of debates about the content hosted there, I have spent years recovering from the effects of sexual abuse perpetrated by the website’s users, and making this blog and speaking out has been very healing for me.

I’m happy to field questions about my opinions on site moderation, alternatives to AO3, and other issues with fandom, but the primary function of this blog is to provide a safe space for myself and other CSA survivors to trade information and express ourselves.

For this reason, I’ll be prioritising the ‘safe space’ aspect of this blog, and I’m not really interested in discoursing or debating with people who strongly disagree with my views. I am also largely inactive and may take a long time to answer any asks or comments.

EDIT: I’ve noticed that a lot of the critical anons and replies I get attempt to cover issues I’ve already gone over in the essay I used to launch this blog, and I would appreciate if you read the essay in question before making bold assumptions about my views.
