Seydou Keïta at Grand Palais
Seydou Keïta (1921 — 21 November 2001) was a Malian photographer. He is mostly known for his portraits of people and families he took between 1940 and the early 1960s his work was only discovered in the 90s long after he had retired
The Seydou Keita exhibition which opened on 31st March 2016 at the Grand Palais in Paris, and the accompanying catalog, are impressive. The photographs on display at the exhibition come from the Jean Pigozzi photograph collection.
