What's the most embarassing thing Bloody Marys ever asked you to do?
“Ah...I’d rather not talk about it...”
mori is a good bat
protect him
wadanoharatheguardian:
well there at least is going to be more giggling from her as he leaves, stoping for mear moments after he is gone the witch soon rolls off the sofa and that makes her erupt in to laughter all over again and eventually somehow end up on a tall shelf? how she even got up there is a mystery to her, not that she cares she finds it all really funny, at least…. she is still in the same room he left her in
Moritsugu returns a few minutes later with a glass of water in hand and one of his large ears twitch in response to the lack of noise he now hears from the room. He briefly wonders if she may have fallen asleep...that is, until he enters and sees that the little Sea Witch is no longer resting on the couch where he left her.
He frowns, stepping further into the room and setting the glass down on the coffee table as he glances around for any sign of her.
“Ms. Wadanohara...?” the bat utters in a questioning tone. It doesn’t seem as if she’s here, but he doubts she could’ve wandered too far in her current state. Just as he turns and is about to leave the room in search of her, however, his gaze passes over the large bookshelf on the other side of the room...and sees that Wadanohara is perched on the very top of it, appearing completely unperturbed by how high up she is.
“M-Ms. Wadanohara!! What are you doing up there?!”
He isn’t entirely sure how she even managed such a feat while under the influence, but Moritsugu is mostly just relieved that she didn’t fall while doing so.

“hehe– water… thats my home silly mr bat” she knows his name she does but in this state of mind… well oh boy swaying from side to side with a small constant giggle it was a good thing he had chose to help her balance as she almost tripped over her own feet a number of times, hugging a cushion with a small otter like squeak “ohhhh dayyyyyy mr bat baaay” she meant okay, pray she wont be on the ground when you come back Moritsugu, pray it
Moritsugu exhales a quiet sigh, feeling a bit bad for the little witch. He knows that his mistress truly doesn’t mean any harm, but he does sometimes wish that she would be more considerate of others - after all, not everyone has the endless amount of patience towards her antics that he has.
The bat turns, but continues watching Wadanohara for a moment more to make sure that she stays sitting on the sofa like he instructed. In this state, he can’t be sure that she wont wander off the moment he’s out of sight.
“I’ll be right back, Ms. Wadanohara,” he reiterates, “Please, stay there until I return.” With that, he leaves her alone for the time being so that he can retrieve a glass of water.
Moritsugu has a natural inclination to take care for others, even those he doesn’t know. It’s the main reason why he goes out of his way to patrol the forest he and Bloody Mary reside in for those who have lost their way.
"Why yes, I am as think as you drunk I am." who let the little witch have a drink the world may never know, it was Mary, everyone knows it was Mary
Oh, dear.
“Ms. Wadanohara, perhaps you should sit down…” Moritsugu suggests, already stepping towards the inebriated Sea Witch and placing a hand upon her back to steady her.
There’s no doubt in his mind that she was pressured into drinking by his mistress; Wadanohara clearly cannot handle alcohol very well and she hardly seems the irresponsible type.
He escorts her to a nearby sofa and helps her settle down on one of the crimson-colored cushions. “I’ll go get you a glass of water,” he tells her, “Please, sit here while I’m gone.”
hc + sleeping habits
Sleeping Habits
Moritsugu actually prefers sleeping in his animal form. There are several chandeliers throughout the mansion and he’ll often dangle from those while he rests.
He does have an proper bed, though, which he uses mainly for when he’s napping.
HC+ injury, servitude, last resort
Injury
Bloody Mary frequently does incredibly reckless and otherwise dangerous things. It’s not his place to question his mistress, and he’s well aware of how powerful she is, but Moritsugu can’t help worrying that she’ll get hurt one of these days.
Servitude
Moritsugu is doggedly loyal to Bloody Mary and he extends nearly endless patience towards her. He does everything she asks of him without complaint.
Last Resort
Moritsugu has, in all likelihood, never drank Mary’s blood, and if he has, it was before he became her familiar, due to the temporary power boost a familiar gains from consuming their witch’s blood.
That sort of ability isn’t one that should be abused, so he would only ever feed from his mistress now as a last resort.
send me ‘ hc ‘ + a word and i’ll write a headcanon about it regarding my character.
Due to Bloody Mary’s, ah...hobbies, there’s definitely no shortage of blood for Moritsugu to drink whenever he needs it.
That said, he still hunts, if only to keep himself in shape.
Moritsugu dangles upside down from the ornate chandelier that hangs over the foyer, doing his best to disentangle the gory mess that his mistress has rather meticulously wrapped around it.
It’s difficult work in this form, but he’s managing...
Moritsugu and Bloody Mary both predominantly reside in the Witch World. Their home is a large mansion that’s located deep within a dense, magical forest filled with strange, often dangerous beings. It’s full of twists and turns that make getting lost an easy task and many an unfortunate victim will fall prey to the beasts that live there or succumb to starvation before finding their way out.
It’s not a problem for Moritsugu or his mistress, of course, for they both know the forest’s paths by heart, but whenever he has time, he’ll go for walks in search of unwitting travelers that have lost their way and lead them to safety once he finds them.
Hello!! Please reblog this if you’re interested in roleplaying with a Moritsugu from Funamusea’s works. Thank you!!
