There’s a brief moment of silence as the strange aquatic flesh touches his sweaty grip, the boy accustoming himself with her body heat and squeezing his fingers around Dendy’s knuckles. It’s sweet how TKO shows subtle affections in small exchanges, just not so much when it comes out in his aggressions; so it’s nice to have the occasional day off from his stressful brooding.

❝ Dendy? Don’t get too used t’uh this. ❞

Dendy felt a small wave of alarm when T.K.O. squeezes her hand, but calms down when he does nothing beyond that. The only time Dendy sees T.K.O. is whenever he is blind with rage and attacking the plaza. But this time... he wasn’t hostile. He was being---seemingly friendly, in fact. It was... confusing, as she had believed he held a special kind of hatred for her.

But...this was good, possibly, if he is not provoked in any way. And, in a sense, sharing this moment with him was... enjoyable. Of course, this is merely temporary, but a part of her was glad to have this moment at all.

❝ ...I assure you, I will not. ❞ There was a faint smile curled on her lips, though it wasn’t able to be seen unless you looked closely.
