Francis flops down on the bed. "I hate the Italians... I hope your day was better then mine..." He groans and looks at his wife curiously. "How was your day darling?"
Mary was already laying down underneath the covers before her husband flopped down next to her. Her day had been much better than her husband’s based on what Francis had said even if it was just something small like hating the Italians that came to the French Court to consult with the King of France. ❝My day was lovely. Lola, John and I went to the pond to watch the ducks before going to eat lunch back here. Other than that I wrote a letter to my mother wanting to know how she is handling the riots of my people. So today was not the worst but it was not the best either.❞
Francis yawns and sits up to crawl into the blankets with her. “More riots in Scotland?” He sighs. “If we have troops to spare I’ll see if we can send some.”
“I went to put John to bed but he was already asleep… I hate when meetings make me miss anything with my son. Lola wasn’t happy either.” He sighs.
❝There is always something going on in Scotland that is never good during this time of hardship for them. ❞ She moved closer to her husband, snuggling into his side with her head on his chest. ❝Lola knows that you love your son but sometimes being King does not give you the time you want with your child.I do feel bad that you did not get to put him to bed like you do when you can.❞
