In a Multi-Tenant Building, Shared Infrastructure Is a Security Problem That Will Undoubtedly Occur
Most multi-tenant buildings in the UAE share more infrastructure than tenants think. They may use the same cable trays, rooms that house the same equipment, and access control systems that were not meant to separate data between tenants.
Nobody cares until some tenant finds out that their network traffic can be accessed by a neighbor or that there are entries in logs that shouldn’t be there, which places the blame on the building manager.
Proper ELV isolation, cabling, and access control are not an upgrade in this case but the basic requirement.
