Gritty garage punk from Ventnor, UK. Mostly bored youth around there but they make great music to fill up the boredom. Been there once, had a fun time but fucking hell, can’t understand why you’ll keep living there. It is isolated as fuck, only conservative old people around.That stuff gets you pissed off and you start writing great lyrics about it.

I saw this band last weekend in Porto, Portugal (short holiday). Was listening to them for almost a year. Random Bandcamp discoveries are great! They were well surprised that I knew them. Great attitude and amazing performance.
There were 3 other bands whom also played, keep an eye out for them!

Beastman, Rochester NY based hardcore. Got this EP at Sorry State Records because it was on clearance sale and looked interesting. Holy shit, one of the better random cops I did recently. Powerful stuff. Hope they are making new stuff but it doesn’t look like it right now.

Female fronted hardcore band ‘Mace’ blows me away everytime. Shame the demo is only 5 minutes long but there is more material! Just straight up punk. Bee (Vocals) sounds rad as fuck. Angry stuff to listen to on your way to work.
Raw Poon - Gooch Gobbler is a humorous powerviolence album. I would almost call this Funky Powerviolence. The bass in some songs is really cool, just slappin’ nothing technical. Think they broke up by now, they only released this album as far as I know.

Today I talked about Action Pact’s Joe Fungus and his son Charlie for a bit. This is the band Charlie’s in. Trashy garage with synths, that’s exactly how I like it. Short powerful songs about boredom, politics and other shite.
Met those guys through a friend of mine who plays in Tony Clifton (link below). He met the lead singer in a pub in Amsterdam on a drunk night out. That night he immediately send me the music of the almighty Quim Reaper.
I listened to 3 songs, looked them up on Facebook, send them a message about wanting to release their EP on cassette. Received an answer the next morning and it was a yes! That one ‘yes’ started an amazing adventure. They came to the Netherlands (3 times) and I went to the Isle of Wight and Bristol.
Experienced some great and weird shit. One guy whom will not be named wanked off to keep warm at a train station because he was lost in Bristol. Got more weird shit but that’s it for today. Might follow up with a bigger story, if people are interested at least.

Action Pact - Suicide Bag. Such an underrated song/band in my opinion. Great old school punk from England.
Rediscovered this band because of the band Quim Reaper (Isle of Wight, UK). Released Quim Reaper on my old label ‘Osso Crosso’. The drummer (Charlie) of this amazing dirty 4-piecie is apparently the son of Joe Fungus. Who I’ve met and talked about the John Peel Sessions they did. Joe was only 15 when they recorded Suicide Bag!
When I met Joe, we talked for an hour or such at a pub on the Isle of Wight about old school punk and the stuff that’s going down in the Netherlands at that moment. Was great to meet a hero and a dad of one of my best foreign friends.
