Behold, my probably flawed summaries:
Barbarian: can go into Berserker Mode(tm) and gain extra attack power from it. I think they usually use axes? Not entirely sure. Donβt make them angry (but theyβre like Bruce Banner and can slip into a Rage at a momentβs notice, you have been warned)
Bard: can use their instrument to perform magic. Have the stereotype of being the one to try to seduce literally everyone else. Also they can have small physical weapons. Generally high charisma
Cleric: healer. Devote themselves to a god or deity of some sort to gain their power. Will Not Take Any Crap, do NOT piss off your partyβs cleric or you will die
Druid: in tune with nature and can transform into animals. Pretty cool
Fighter: will fight you. Using whatever weapons they can get
Monk: will fight you with their bare hands
Paladin: swear an oath to a deity of some sort to gain their power; generally seen as the stereotypical perfect knight that rides around in shining armor. They strive to uphold their oaths and stick to their moral system very strongly
Ranger: Legolas from LOTR.
Rogue: thieves and other criminal types. Will stab you in the back with a knife. At least they say they will but really youβve grown on them like a moss and they canβt get rid of you now. Have many skills useful for manipulation, stealing, etc. Street smarts
Sorcerer: born with innate magic. lucky them
Warlock: person who accidentally or on purpose ends up in a contract with a demon(?) of some sort and gains magical powers as a result. Have to be careful not to risk their soul or something though, probably. Making a deal with the devil(? fae maybe? again Iβve never played dnd I donβt know the specifics) is risky
Wizard: study hard for their magic. Book smart. Probably feel offended by the existence of sorcerers. Glass cannons - they can pack a punch but you so much as pat them on the back too hard and theyβll lose half their HP. Have a superiority complex
