another post about my stance on rpf because its an interesting topic to me

i feel like many people are very close minded. i saw someone say they enjoyed bunch of friends rpf on reddit and everyone immediately shut it down and told them it was weird. while i do think it can be weird to an extent, theres an ethical and appropriate way to engage in rpf.

on my instagram, it is private, irls only. i post on my close friends about enjoying bunch of friends rpf and make jokes, and do not comment on ANY of the bunch of friends members' instagrams about it. if my instagram was public and about shipping i would absolutely block all of them as to not risk them seeing it. it is not their issue that i engage in shipping them, and it should not be their issue. they go through enough as creators with boundary issues and adding onto it would be bad.

i write fanfics. i do, i won't deny that, and i will continue to. i haven't posted any on ao3 yet, but when i do, i will not try to send them to any of them, because again, it shouldnt be their issue to see that.

as far as i know none of them are on tumblr, so i feel free to engage in rpf and post about it. if that thing makes you uncomfortable i understand and you may unfollow as that'll probably be a lot of my content now because its something i enjoy currently.

but back to my original point, people are too close minded about rpf as a whole. having fun and thinking people are cute together is not inherently disgusting unless you are SPECIFICALLY harassing them, their partners, or literally any of the people involved. its not cool to do that. you should have your online spaces to post about it, and leave it to that.

anyways, i know this is my like third time mentioning this, but i just do truly believe that ethical consumption of rpf is a thing, and its interesting to me. thats all of my yap and yeah bye^_^🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷😄😄😄😄😄😄
