As a biology education grad student I haven’t noticed any huge inaccuracies yet. There’s plenty of artistic metaphor, and occasionally a silly joke thrown in (I think a cell prays for heavenly aid at one point?) But they do try to stay true to biology as we understand it. As an example, I was surprised to see a neutrophil fighting cancer cells, as I thought they were mostly antimicrobial fighters, but research shows that activated neutrophils do kill tumor cells. I learned something new from Cells at Work, and I highly recommend it! It won’t replace a bio class, but it’s a fun supplement.
