Watching this interview with Pavel and Pooh, one made me feel so proud of how far Pavel has come as an actor. As someone who has watched him since 2moons 2 and followed along with his silly yt videos and vlogs through quarantine, I’m blown away by his performance as Babe.

The interview also made me realize just how integral Pavel and Pooh are to their characters. It’s no big surprise that actors tend to adapt mannerisms to the character they are playing, but the way a character is played is also very dependent on that actor’s mannerisms.

Pave is a naturally charismatic person, he’s passionate and those traits are easy to see why he fits Babe’s character. Pavel is also a very emotional person and this characteristic also shapes how Babe is portrayed on screen.

ESPECIALLY the crying scenes. The scene in episode seven after Babe and Charlie make up.

Here I was a bit thrown off (in a good way) that instead of Charlie, Babe was crying. Afterwards when Babe pulls away, Charlie smiles and wipes Babes tears away. Their dynamic again is so unique. And a large part of it comes from the way Pavel and Pooh are themselves.

Babe as a character naturally inherits Pavels ability to express emotions freely.

Also Charlie inherits Poohs natural playfulness and the way he cares for others. The scene I mentioned above mirrors their Interview quite well. Pavel gets extremely emotional and for good reason and Pooh is attentive to comfort him and wipe away his tears.

I don’t ship them at all because they really do seem just platonic (also it’s not my place) but their friendship and trust for one another is the reason why Babe and Charlie have such electric chemistry.

Anyway I think I’m diving too deep but I love Pavel and Pooh and their bond and also how much they have brought this show to life.

OML Pooh is so good at pouting he plays puppy faced Charlie so so well. I know everyone (me included) talks about how perfect Pavel was for Babe’s role but we need to talk more about how Pooh is so perfect for Charlie.

He’s able to take on a cute innocent demeanor at certain times, but in a second he can switch his facial expressions. He’s still pretty young and new to the industry but he has surpassed my expectations.

Also he gets extra bonus points for some of the best no scenes ESPECIALLY THIS MOMENT

He was so hot for this I can’t. Pooh has such expressive eyes. I think that’s why when he takes his glasses off he blows the audience away. In this episode his pout really did it for me. He’s so cute. And hot. And Talented.

I love how he brings Charlie to life

I’m happy and sad at the same time. The last 13 weeks were a crazy fun ride and also super emotional with finding unexpected love, betrayal, lost trust and lost friendships but also wonderful found family and happiness. I will really miss this show. Thank goodness I can watch it again and again. 🥹
