Holy shit just had someone reblog a post from me and add a LONG post about how there is a call for people to ‘boycott both parties’ and not vote at all because both parties have been complicit in the Palestinian genocide.

And while true, the government is shit and both parties have been involved.

The fact of the matter is that ONE of TWO people are going to win tonight no matter what. If you boycott, one of them wins. If you vote, one of them wins. At least if you go out and vote, we might be able to get the lesser of two evils to win.

You dont have to like the government or politics. But you do have to recognize the risks of NOT voting just because you disagree with both parties. You dont vote because you like them. You vote to get the least worst one in office.
