How often do patients ask for a woman doctor instead of you? Does it interfere with how you feel about your work?

Most older patients don’t care, but the younger ones usually ask for a woman doctor. I don’t hold it against them though. Afterall, I’m not complaining about less work! (But don’t tell my boss I said that) It doesn’t affect me much, so I don’t think it interferes much. Whenever I- uh I mean. If I was a woman and I had to see a obgyn, which I don’t. For the record. I’d probably rather see a female doctor.
