Anonymously or not, tell me who you ship my muse with.
{{ PLOT TWIST. (Time Lady) Mary Poppins regenerates into Fran Fine from The Nanny. }}
madwomaninabox13:
The Doctor grinned at the Nanny, somehow revelling in the fact that she was right about never being able to shut up. She was going to ask about the continuation of the look but then something rather remarkable happened.
The parrot spoke.
“Who are you then?” she asked, leaning down to look at it and pokes its beak.
“Hey, no touching without my permission! That's harassment.”
Mary rolled her eyes as changed the umbrella to her other hand.
“This is Mr. Parrot-Umbrella. Careful, he's quite famous for making unforgiving observations and eventually pecking at distracted individuals.” She sighed. “It was just a sonic umbrella at first, but I might have gotten a bit lonely and messed up with the circuits. I cannot say I don't regret it, sometimes. Maybe I should add a ‘no-nonsense’ circuit.”
Mary Poppins (1964)
Mary Poppins Returns Christmas 2018
Mary Poppins (1964) dir. Robert Stevenson
Though her words are simple and few, Listen, listen, she’s calling to you. “Feed the birds, tuppence a bag, Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag.”
“Feed the Birds” from Mary Poppins (1964) - music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman; performed by Julie Andrews
When the Sherman Brothers first played “Feed the Birds” to Mary Poppins author Pamela Travers, it was one of the few songs she enjoyed - although she believed the song was unsuitable for a male voice (the Shermans took that advice). In the days and years leading to and after Mary Poppins’ release, Walt Disney sometimes asked the Sherman Brothers to come into his office on Friday afternoons just to talk about the week. Afterwards, Disney - a heavy worker whom many at the studio could not say had close friends - would ask the Shermans to “play it”. They knew what he meant as they went over to the office piano and performed “Feed the Birds” - Walt Disney’s favorite song.
Appearing as the Bird Lady is Jane Darwell (Ma Joad in 1940′s The Grapes of Wrath), who was personally convinced by Disney to appear in the film despite her frailty. At 84 when the film premiered, it is Darwell’s last film appearance.

“Yes, you did. But it’s all right, you still need to learn how to bite that new tongue.”
“Mah tongue? Is there any reason I’d want to bite it? Ooohhhh, you mean like keeping it still - well, when have you ever known me to keep from a good chin wag?”
“Well, there was one time back then when - --.”
“No, you are right. That never happened. But yes, back to your irreflexive commentary, I do look exactly as the last time we met. I know change is a part of life, it's just that I'm not interested in being part of it.” She declared, just before...
“Indeed.”
“Hey!”
Being interrupted by her companion-ish gadget.

What would you do/say/react if you ever meet Mary Poppins?
I’d clobber the bitch for stealing my look.
