i updated my easy gene project tracker! features include:

dropdown menus to choose breed/genes/etc

dependent dropdowns for genes so you dont have to scroll through every modern and ancient gene to find the specific one you need

automatic calculation of cost in treasure and gems

automatic calculation of number and type of baldwin materials needed, along with links to their listing on the AH

list of baldwin recipes, including materials, treasure cost, and level needed for brewing

list of where to obtain every non-marketplace/baldwin gene

and much, much more!

the forum post includes a guide on how to update it when i do, as well as how to update it on your own if i take too long lol. i first made this template last year but this update improves quality of life. pls let me know what you think! feedback is always appreciated.

 7. The seasons (one or all, depending on how spicy you’re feeling.)

First to rise is Spring.

She awakes from her slumber calmly, slowly - five more minutes, please, but those are not permitted. A queen she may be, but she behaves like a princess still, picking flowers as she pleases. But with a season like hers, who can blame her?

Second rises Summer.

Unlike Spring, she is rather more excited to wake up - she has been waiting for this, and now she’s ready. And yet, in spite of her best efforts, signs of her immaturity shine through from time to time - but not quite like the warm sunlight she embodies does.

Third rises Autumn.

More experienced than the younger queens, Autumn sings her songs of the harvest, of the warm colors contrasting the cold air. She acts as a wise spirit, yet deep within her heart lies that which always keeps her going: it might not be the best of times, but she’ll do anything she can to make it seem so.

Last rises Winter.

Finally awaking from her deep rest - slowly, then all of a sudden, entirely. The eldest queen is a solemn one, yet to say that the cold has embittered her would not be as accurate. No, she simply knows that her task is one she has to fulfill, no matter what - even if she desires otherwise.

ah - hey, uh… it’s late here and i’m about to sleep, but we’re going on a big road trip tomorrow and i’m genuinely terrified of going on vacation. i’ve been stressing out about it for the past few days, and i’m still not entirely sure how to deal with it, so…

if possible, could i please have some asks? kind messages, questions about dragons - anything goes. i just need something to look at tomorrow, to help me get through it…

tomorrow’s another long trip, and after that, the second, and hardest part of this vacation starts… i feel so utterly unprepared and the stress has been making me feel sick. if anyone has any other soft or gentle dragons, i’d really love to see them ;;

oh soft dragons? i’ll start with my softest boy, Svai.

not only does he look soft, he’s a big sweetie too! he often helps Europa (botanist and honorary soft boy mention) with his greenhouse, and has two partners he loves dearly - T’Priah, a rambunctious sorceress, and Vipohtek, a slightly rougher warrior. Svai can get annoyed by their antics but couldn’t live without them.

next up is my custom progen, Bismuth.

Bismuth acts grumpy at times, but is really, really sweet and loves the hatchlings. he and his wife, Calana (twice-scattered random progen and head of colony), adopted Mara when she was recovered from Clan Zmaj. as head of colony security, he’d lay down his life for any of those under his care.

finally, i have Bruligis.

Bruligis had a very rough childhood, growing up an orphan on their home planet. when she got older, she dedicated her life to helping people who were in the same situation she had been in as a child. she gave to and started her own charities, performed countless life-saving medical procedures, and discovered groundbreaking research that made her world a better place for the short time before it was destroyed by the Shade. her place on Sornieth is similar - now she heals her colonymates and learns as much as she can about the plagues that attempt to take the lives of residents of her new home. every life she can save is a blessing.
