"Look, a pizza-snake! See, I'm probably fine. Probably. I mean, doesn't everyone have coils of snakes inside of them? Or are those intestines..."

Her voice was quiet as she closed her eyes and laid down.

It looked quite fine, quite... normal. And that was the problem. Androids didn't take naps. They didn't sleep, not really. But the way Fey looked, the way everything seemed to stop... It looked worse than sleep.

"Everything's too quiet around here. I don't like it." Specifically, Fey didn't like the feeling of -- of her circuitry feeling like it was missing. It wasn't. She was whole. Just, for a robot, was as close to feeling like she was missing a part of herself as she could get.
