Being in a relationship with an alpha, while being an alpha yourself isn't easy.

He has to wait for his boyfriend's tense shoulder to relax, waits for namjoon to turn his head and smile at him, before wrapping his arms round his waist and pull him flush to his chest.
He brushes his nose over Namjoon's neck to lightly scent him, nothing too overwhelming, and then places kisses on the side of his jaw, down his neck and over the expanse of his shoulder that has been revealed due to the wide collar of his sweater.
New relationships with a person of the same sub-gender are always hard to navigate. Especially that of two alphas. Your alpha has to accept that your partner's alpha is not a threat, then acknowledge the alpha, trusting the alpha, understanding that this alpha is dear to you.
All in all, it takes a year to settle down with an alpha.

Being in a relationship with an alpha is not easy, when you're hopelessly smitten with them and you can get lost in a passionate haze easily.
But it's also worth it, because only someone who loves you will endure all hardship for so long just to have a normal relationship towards, eventually.
