hey, guys. 

i know i keep saying i’m going to work on drafts, but i haven’t been feeling okay in the past week. i’m having tachycardia, chest pains and feeling a bit numb and i know this has to do with me being anxious. and, yeah, some of it has to do with roleplaying.

i told myself this year i would handle things differently and i will. so i just wanted to let you guys know that yes, i will work on drafts. but, no, i don’t know when i’ll do that and how often i’ll show up here anymore.

Pietro sorriu sarcasticamente pra garota, estava pensando muito em não fazer uma borrada perto daquela criança mas mesmo assim a raiva subia cada vez mais, mas conseguia se lembrar do que Xavier sempre lhe dizia, as coisas poderiam estar difíceis mas ele poderia mudar para o bem, para que as pessoas não tivessem tanto ódio dele. — Sabe pirralha, se você pensa assim, talvez um médico pode te curar em questão de segundos sem você perceber e o melhor, pode ser um mutante. — respondeu, bagunçando o cabelo dela e assim se levantando. — Onde fica sua casa, vou te levar pra lá pra terminarmos esse papo chato.

Em um gesto automático, levou a mão ao cabelo depois que ele o bagunçou. “Eu não sou uma pirralha”, era uma resposta petulante, mas estava cansada de correr e não tinha que ouvir um estranho a chamando assim. “E-E eu não vou contar onde fica minha casa!” Na verdade, nem a própria Gracie poderia voltar para lá no momento, mas a atitude adolescente lhe estava servindo como boa distração e válvula de escape.

Deu uma meia risada abafada e suas pupilas refletiram em amarelo vivo contra a luz. Caninos pontudos reluzindo ameaçadoramente. Adorava a maneira como ela se referia a ele, e principalmente adorava o

estampado naquele rostinho juvenil.  Ora essa, ela podia se esforçar o quanto quisesse, mas não sabe que criaturas da Noite como ele podem farejar medo a quilômetros de distância. Ele sabe que você veio sozinha, e sabe também que você não deveria estar aqui.

             Garota, você está tão morta. 

“E mesmo assim você ta aqui.” Respondeu com sotaque  nas consoantes. “Veio atras de problema, né? Cutucar o monstro com vara curta é bem perigoso quando não tem grades pra te proteger.”

Não fora sua melhor decisão.

Quando decidira ir ao bar, Gracie achou que conseguiria passar à noite em uma de suas mesinhas. Acreditou que poderia ficar só observando, e que ninguém nem perderia tempo conversando com ela.

Agora, pôde ver com seus próprios olhos: a besta estava se transformando. Desviou o olhar, sem querer encarar diretamente  tal abominação. Ao invés disso, levou a mão até o quadril, onde carregava uma única adaga. 

Apalpou-a, conferindo se ainda estava no mesmo lugar, mas sem removê-la. E então, olhou para o homem. "Se você sabe quem eu sou, sabe o que vai acontecer com você se me matar." Não tinha certeza se era isso que ele faria com ela, mas ouvira as histórias.

“Oh my gaawwd, weren’t you listening?” Rudy gave her a dramatic eye roll and tugged her towards him so that her back was against his chest. As much as he liked pulling her hair, the position would be easier for him to silence her if need be and it gave him a range of options to scare her with from clamping a hand around her mouth to feeling her up.

“We have a few options here. I can let you go so you can tell Mark that he needs to go home to us but I don’t think that’ll be very effective. I could kill you but then he still wouldn’t want to come back… Or you and I can sit here until he comes back so we can trade, you for him. Worst case scenario is that I kill both of you.” Worst case scenario was actually sexually assaulting her and then killing her, letting Mark see the body, then killing him. That would only happen if he got angry enough and even at this rate, it was unlikely to happen. “So, which one do you think you like best? I think I’d like to keep you here for a bit and then do a trade with him. Mark will be back soon, I know he’d never leave you for long.”

The new position was beyond uncomfortable and Gracie had to remind herself not to struggle. This man wasn’t like her parents, who would only give her a slap to remain silent. No, she had a feeling he would go way further than that. 

“O-Okay, okay”, she agreed, voice a little shaky. “W-We could wait for Mark here.” There was nothing else for her to do but to comply - and, all things considered, maybe that wasn’t the most terrible of ideas. While they waited, the girl could plan how to get out once Rudy got distracted. And maybe she would get Mark’s help too.

Carefully, Gracie lowered the tray at the center table. She picked up two mugs and handed one of them to her little brother. "Be careful. You could get burned", was her only warning as she sat beside him, looking for some warmth. It was a cold night and their parents had left the house to take care of some business in the east, leaving just the two children at the main house.

“I’ve been old enough for a while.” Abel giggled, rubbing the side of his head against her shoulder like a kitten. There was very rarely a time where he didn’t want to be held by her. Bonnie was strict and punished them harshly, in a way Gracie was like the loving mother they never had. He reached up and smoothed down the locks of red hair that sat on her shoulder, part of him wondered why he didn’t have beautiful red hair like hers’.

“I have to make sure he’s a good person and he’ll take care of you. Brothers look out for their sisters. Right, Gracie? Please tell me about him.” He had seen this mysterious man numerous times but Mark always avoided him, his eyes would widen slightly or squeeze shut then he’d dart the other way. It was strange, maybe he just didn’t like children and if so, he certainly wouldn’t be suitable for his sister. Abel could tell that Gracie wanted many children one day and live on a farm nicer than this one, he wanted the same future as well but maybe with one or two children, not as many as her.

She offered his head a small caress, before giggling along. “Of course. I just haven’t been paying attention, right?”, her elbows connected with the side of his stomach in a gentle way. Noticing that her little brother wouldn’t give up so easily, Gracie offered a little bit of truth. 

“You know we’re not… together”, hopefully the emphasis would be enough for him to understand the meaning behind it. “Father would have to approve us courting beforehand and he has been too busy lately”. Trying not to let the last sentence sour the nice mood they had, Gracie promptly continued. “… But. We spend some time together sometimes… All appropriate!” The girl was quick to add, turning to Abel. She had to set a good example for him. Her move made his head miss her shoulder and fall into an awkward angle. Adjusting herself again, Gracie offered her shoulder one more time, waiting to see if he would like to resume his previous position. “We went to pick up some berries the other day.”

ops, i said i was going to work on drafts, but i got a little sidetracked with life

bUT now i’m ready and i’ve started to work on some things so i’ll start posting them :D

edit: oh, btw, since orphan black will come back iN A FEW MONTHS let me already warn you all: my tag is still going to be ‘obspoilers’. :D
