“Great! Come on then,” he took her hand once more and started leading her to the stables.

“Hey, I think these are one of the stables where if you pay them some gold they’ll let you take one of the pegasi out for a quick flight. I’ll treat you if you’re feeling up to it!”

At that, Precani looked suspiciously at him. She was glad she didn’t have her cousin’s fear for heights but...

“....do you even know how to ride a pegasus?” She asked. She had heard of people who could ride horses without learning first but... would that work with pegasus? She did not want to fall from who knows what height after all.

She would have retorted something in reply to what he first said, but was pretty distracted when she saw a pegasus and its rider go out of the stables he pointed out to her earlier.

"…I guess the tour goes first…." Rani replied, glad that she had stuffed her headphones into her bag before they reached the town.

"All right! … Although, I’m not all that sure where to start," he said with a slightly embarrassed chuckle.

"Though, I think those pegasi caught your attention most. Should we start there?"

Ah, was it really that obvious? She resisted the urge to ask if she could actually touch the pegasi- that felt awkward to her, not to mention really childish. It's been awhile since she last felt like that...

"T-that's a good place as any I guess" She said, coughing slightly in an attempt to hide what she was thinking of. She tried to push those embarrassing thoughts out of her head, dimly remembering there was a saying somewhere that horses were a girl's best friend. Did that apply to pegasi too--? Wait. She really shouldn't think thoughts like that...

"….you don’t say…." Rani could probably handle the magic part- her cousin did use magic after all!- but now that she thought about it, if she hadn’t had a Neko witch for a cousin she might have fainted by now out of shock.

"Dammit Yuki why did you have to be the one with the other aspect of the family…" She muttered under her breath, still being dragged along by Inigo. She had to put a hand over her eyes- damn, the sun was too bright! She would have paused to pull up her hood but then she caught sight of the town "……what the….."

He could hear her disbelief as he led her towards the entrance of the town. They could see dozens of people walking around, some with attire similar to his. Some people were practicing magic, some were sparring, and there were plenty of stalls with items he’s sure to check out later. And of course, there were the pegasi stalls.

"Well, here we are!" He turned to give her a grin. "I know it’s a bit hard to get used to, but I’m sure we’ll have a great time!"

"…Oh god you have got to be kidding me—" She looked around- yep, strange clothing everywhere. Now her fashion was already strange in her own world, but here she felt even more out of place. At least she didn’t have to wear a full skirt or anything like some of the people that passed by.

"…What is this place—?" She asked, still looking around. For once there wasn’t a frown or a pout on her face, but curiosity- this was very strange to her, but she couldn’t help but seem like a child finding somewhere new to play.

"Hey, you’re actually not frowning! A bit of a refreshing change, eh?"

"Well, since this is your first visit, do you want to eat first or should I give you a bit of a tour? I promise all of this will be worth it."

He laughed at her disbelief as he walked around with her in tow. “I assure you, this is all quite real,” he said. The town was in his view by now- he wonders how she’d react to everything else Ylisse had to offer. “You’ll get used to it, I’m sure! … Oh, try not panic too much if some people start using magic. It’s pretty much the norm here.”

Where the heck did that random forest come from? The atmosphere was pretty different too. Her gadgets felt pretty out of place here, so she took her headphones off from around her neck and stuffed them into her bag, looking around. "…where the heck did you take me?" Rani was feeling a little dizzy- whether it was because of the way they used to travel or because of the sudden change of surroundings she wasn’t sure. She just hoped that dizziness would pass already- if it would’t pass… she just hoped it wouldn’t get worse.

"Welcome to my world!" He said cheerfully. "More specifically, the continent of Ylisse. Told you everything I said was true!"

Subconsciously he grabbed her hand and started leading her through the forest. “There’s a town nearby with a really great tavern, I think you’ll love it. Oh, and I think they have pegasi stables there too, but I’m not sure-“

"I'm surrounded by idiots...." She sighed, headphones hanging from her neck as she watched her workmates run off for their break. (~precani-silaica)

"I sincerely hope I’m not included in that group, milady," Inigo said, appearing beside her almost out of nowhere. "These are your groupmates, then?" He saw a particularly attractive one run off some direction and smirked smiled. “They seem like a lovely bunch.”

"Whenever I’m ready…?" She blinked "..Well I suppose there’s nothing else I have to do so…"

Well she did talk to her cousin just a few days ago, so perhaps he was really telling the truth about “other realms”… after all, her cousin claimed to be travelling through dimensions with a Demon and a “broken” Angel she had recently picked up.

She shrugged “I guess that means I’m already ready?”

"Well, here we are!" He announced with a grin. They had landed in a forest not far from the Shepherd’s camp. "Hope that break of yours is long, I have a feeling our date’s going to be great!"

"And yes, camp. Since I’m sure you won’t believe me if I try to explain, I think it’s best if I show you." He grinned at her. "So I think it’s settled- whenever you’re ready we’re going to my realm. It’ll be fun!"

Rani was pretty sure that had she been drinking anything just then, she would have choked. Instead, she felt her face flush at his words.

"D-d—" She began to stammer. Dammit! She really wished it didn’t affect her so much! "—D-date…….?” She finally managed to say after a few moments- it felt more like minutes to her- of stammering.

He laughed a bit at her flushed face, actually a bit surprised that she hasn’t smacked him or hurt him in any way. He always was a bit too forward.

"I jest, I jest. But it’s alright, really. I’ll be able to eat when we get back, no treating necessary. I do appreciate it, though."
