hii girl!! It’s the same anon who asked about clothing on a budget lol ໒꒰ྀིっ˕ -｡ྀི꒱১ I just need some advice overall, because I’m living with some roommates and I just want my room to be all cutesy but unfortunately the walls are blue and I just want a makeover for my wardrobe and room desperately but I can’t spend tooo much since I’m also a student and I’m working too lol 🫩 I was thinking maybe you could help me find where to get furniture and clothing that gave off kook!sweetheart + house!bunny 😭😞😞

i can’t stress wall paper enough! (peel and stick cause i don’t want you to risk having to pay damages for anything) it’s not really expensive (depending where you get it from, i get mine from amazon and etsy) and the prints for cutesy patterns and designs are endless. i literally have my guest bedroom decked out in wallpaper because i like to change things up every now and then (it gets tedious having to do a whole room but if you have someone who doesn’t mind doing it for you or if you have an extra hand to help, the end result is sooooo worth it!). as for furniture that i think closely resembles kook!sweetheart!reader and bunny!reader’s aesthetic, here’s some inspo :

similar to my last ask, facebook marketplace is an absolute gold mine for furniture. you can always refurbish these items and clean them up/give them a different paint job for cheap too! look at vintage shops near you if you can, garage sales, and i’m sure amazon sells furniture like this too!

thrift store thrift store thrift store!!! i know nowadays thrift stores have been upping their prices but i think they’re still at a widely affordable level. i used to advise depop but tbh anything that’s cute on there isn’t cheap lol. go to garage sales that have displayed clothing, look up clothing bundles on facebook marketplace sometimes i come across the cutest vintage stuff (literally a whole bin) and it’s never more than $50 a bin in my area. speaking of bins, go to the bins at the thrift but beware! those spaces get pretty crowded depending on where you go ♡

thank you angel, this means a lot to me ♡ it’s just so strange for people (more so those who hide their negative comments behind anon) to think that i owe them anything at all. i’ve been pretty open about my reasons for leaving and coming back to tumblr, my engagement, my future wedding plans, etc.. unfortunately, i’ll just be private about that subject from here on out. i’ve received (and still get) a lot of rude and hateful anon messages pertaining to me and my fiancé that are just flat out discouraging and mean.

obviously i know that if i share things i’m opening up the window to be criticized, but i feel like it really does reach a point. if i was promoting unhealthy relationship advice, dangerous relationship dynamics and things of that nature, then i would totally get it! but sharing posts of me being excited and happy about this new chapter i’m entering in my life?? how does that warrant any kind of negativity?? anyways, i’m grateful for your sweet words nonnie, you have no idea how much i appreciate it.
