Happy Easter!

Instead of jelly beans, you get skirts for adult and young adult males!

These aren’t my meshes or textures; the texture is by fuglsang (x) and the mesh is by a creator who’s long since vanished from the web (x). 

I simply got tired of looking at my historical sims running around in clothes inspired by Pyramidhead, and did some surgery.

I’ve styled these in a more historicizing fashion, but these would be excellent for modern-day sarongs, lungi, or izaar, as well as for your AMAB sims who simply like to wear skirts!

The skirt comes in 2 recolorable channels, with one preset, and is available for thin, fat, and fit YA and A sims in the everyday, formal, athletic, martial arts, career, outerwear, and random categories. 

I’m not sure if it would work for maternity, so I have not enabled it for maternity. It should be base-game compatible!

Please do convert these for teens or elders, or even for children, add more morphs, make it shorter or longer or give it tassels on the hem, etc., etc.! 

Just remember it’s barely mine in the first place and don’t be the jerk who puts it behind a paywall. 

Do note that the skirts have the same animation and texture stretching flaws that all long skirts do in-game. I’m not sure if there’s a way to counteract this. 

Additionally, puffier tucked-in tops, such as the Supernatural cowl-neck top, will get part of the waistband textures. If you want the top to match the skirt precisely (as if the Sim is wearing a supertunic), this is not bad; if you want them to contrast, mea culpa! If I learn of a way to fix this, I will release an update.

Adopt A Historical Sim: Slonk Hill Man

Slonk Hill Man was in his late twenties when he died (in or around the 280s B.C.E). The circumstances of his death are unclear, as he was healthy and fit, and there was no sign of trauma to his remains; he was buried with a “shepherd’s crown” fossil on top of a pile of mollusks. Interestingly, another body (from the Paleolithic) was found with the same type of fossil near the area; perhaps this was a long-standing tradition.

His body was found in 1968 during highway construction, and his face was forensically reconstructed in 2019. The artist, O.D. Nilsson, even included the man’s gap teeth, which give him a rather charming smile (in my opinion).

We don’t know what his name was, what he was like, or even how he died. Therefore, everything is randomized. @schokokokatze suggested the name Caedmon, which I think suits him even if he seems a bit more boisterous than the other famous Caedmon.

Only his everyday outfit is set; everything else is in base game clothing so that you can download your own preferred historical CC OR modernize him as you see fit.

Fig Leaf outfit for YA/A MF - 2to3 conversion

As I said previously, I’m not sure why but I had this fierce and uncontrollable need to have that outfit in my game. So here it is!

The version I’m personally using is set to “Valid for Random”, because I’m easily amused and Sims wearing inappropriate outfits make me smile.

However, I was thinking, maybe you would not all like seeing your townies running around town with that kind of outfit.

But feel free to change the categories as you see fit!

Edit: So…my absent-mindedness made an appearance once again and @ninjaofthepurplethings made me realise that I uploaded a Female outfit without morphs. Thank you so much once again for that!

I’m really sorry if any of you already downloaded that previous version, but if you don’t see any changes when using the weight and fitness sliders for the Female outfit, please re-download the files.

Here’s a bit of trivia for today; the first indoor flush toilets made their appearance in the Neolithic. Of course, if your Sims aren’t taking trips to Skara Brae or Minoan Crete or the Indus Valley, they’ll just have to make do with these.
