Artist Valeria Prieto Composes Beautiful Illustrations on Fallen Autumn Leaves
Inspired by autumn’s fallen leaves, Iowa based artist Valeria Prieto has composed a collection of drawings on dry leaves. She confesses to Bored Panda: “Since childhood, I am in love with nature and I love to keep nature pressed in books. This time I wanted to go beyond, when I was walking around the new neighborhood I found so many big leaves, so I started to collect leaves during autumn, and suddenly I started to paint on them.
I work with acrylics and ink on the dry leaves.
I love the idea of keeping nature as art and preserve nature giving it a second chance to live.”
You can find her entire collection in her Etsy shop.

I love how Nightborne look down on the Night Elves for using bows.
“Bows? How cute; no ones made one here for eons. Fucking primitive troll elves.”

I somehow died in Neltharion’s Lair by jumping into the water right before Rokmora and if that isn’t an accurate representation of my luck in World of Warcraft idk what is.

Impressionist Cityscapes Through Lovers’ Eyes by Leonid Afremov
A professional artist since 1978, American artist Leonid Afremov graduated from the prestigious school Vitebsk Art School, originally founded by classical artist Marc Chagall. Inspired by the work of the latter, Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, and Salvador Dalí, Afremov’s work is purely emotional. Every scene is a reflection of his feelings, emotions, passions and anything that feeds his soul. For this reason, he often chooses to cover the beauty of young love, romance, and the grandeur of cityscapes, which often glimmer as brightly as his paintings during the night.
The vibrant and highly saturated colors of Afremov’s work mimic his inspirations, although his technique emulates Camille Pissarro’s and Claude Monet’s impressionist brush and Georges Seurat’s pointillistic style. By combining the soft flare of depicting images and figures with the contrast of pixelated sharp colors, Afremov delivers stunning and stimulating pieces. You can find more of his work in his Etsy shop.

Narration by Mark Hamill
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Cassius Marsh had his Magic collection stolen earlier this week, so we delivered him a care package of Magic product. Some came from our warehouse, but plenty of it came from private collections of employees who wanted to help. While it can’t replace what was lost, hopefully it can lessen the sting.
In addition to the care package we gave to Cassius, we will also be donating a gift of equivalent retail value to a Seattle-based children’s charity.
We also got to chat about Magic (Cassius’ favorite deck is Legacy Elves!) and about how wonderfully supportive our community is. Happy pack cracking, Cassius!
For those that haven’t seen this story.
This is awesome!
