Good News Everyone!

I've found a nutrition text that isn't full of, shall we say, factually dubious information and didn't cost more than imperial consort's yearly expenses!!

So now that I am on the path to nutritional enlightenment, allow me to share some basics with you!

Food.

Do you need it?

Yes. You need to eat a variety of foods everyday in order to get the energy, vitamins, and minerals needed to survive.

How much food do you need?

This varies depending on a lot if factors. Your age, height, weight, overall health, activity levels, what kind of activities you typically do, what activities you would like to do, all these things and more effect how much food you need just to survive. There is a formula that can help you figure out how much food you need, but that gets a bit too close to biochemistry, and as I understand it, biochemistry formulas can be very triggering for some, so I won't cover that today.

Did it seriously take you this long to find a decent source about nutrition?

The next time you are in a bookstore, look to the health and wellness section. See how many books it contains. See that at least half of those books are about diets. Now understand that of those books, 80-95% of them are about fad diets, which to be clear, are NOT good long-term solutions to weight loss, much less an actual healthy life. Yes it took me this long to find a useful book and any evidence that might suggest that I forgot I bought said book is fabricated by my enemies.

That last hypothetical question has offended me so much that I will conclude today's lesson here. Good day!

Something to keep in mind…. building muscle is so hard people compete to see who can do it best. If you’re a woman worried about “getting bulky”, i promise you that you cannot achieve that physique by accident. Now go lift weights to increase your bone density & protect yourself from osteoporosis and improve your insulin resistence and eat a fiber + protein dense meal with some carbs to refuel and fat for satiety + energy 🫵
