Structure shored up, and stair removed at 660 Congress Street. Moving along!
Steel Beams at 660 Congress Street
A couple quick pics of steel beams being installed at 660 Congress Street. The largest beam is appoximately 3500 lbs. and was maneuvered into place by hand.

Our alternative proposal for Congress Square Park featured in the Portland Press Herald.
Congress Square Park
Images from our proposal for a revitalized Congress Square Park in downtown Portland, Maine. Next Monday, September 9, the City Council will vote on whether to sell the majority of the park to a private equity firm for development as a hotel conference hall. We hope that these images will help inspire further discussion about ways to preserve and improve this underappreciated park for future generations.
