➡︎ CHARLIE ⬅︎
A part of his job was to chat up customers, but it was something Charlie liked to do anyway. He was a good listener and he knew some stuff was just good to get off of your shoulders. “Shit. Yeah, I can see why that’s bothering you. I’m sure she’ll be fine, we have some of the best doctors around, they’ll have her better in no time.” A second later, the omega smiled and shook his head, knowing how it felt to have family trying to set you up. “I have no idea. Hell, it’s not even people who are in love with my family, most of ‘em are trying to set me up all the time.”
Preston put smile a on and just shrugged it off. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to load that on you.” He swirled his glass as he listened to the other. “They seem weirdly obsessed love life, what’s so great about it anyway?” Preston wouldn’t say he wasn’t a believer of love, hell his parents loved each other but he doesn’t see it as important as some people does. “It’s almost always ends up with someone getting hurt.”

➡︎ BYRON ⬅︎
Standing outside, leaning against a wall that was near the entrance of an alleyway, the Beta found himself standing there with a cigarette in between his fingers. Most people had their vices - adrenaline, drinking, sex - but for Byron, it was cigarettes. And as he took a drag from his cigarette, he could feel eyes on him as someone drew near. “I know, I know... It’s a nasty habit,” Byron spoke, smoke leaving his lips as he spoke, not even bothering to look to see who it was approaching, the scent of smoke keeping him from being able to identify them as pack or not.
“Should I feel attacked?” Preston joked and grinned as he lifted his hand, showing the stick of cigarette he was holding. He was only approaching because someone took his lighter and never gave it back, Preston had always find it amusing that there’s an unspoken rule about sharing cigarette light between two people that smoke. “Do you by any chance have a lighter with you? Some asshole borrowed mine and never gave it back.”
Tag your oc that no one takes seriously until something happens and it turns out they’re someone you don’t mess with.

I’m 53/100 on the gifs I’m making of this guy. sighs.
I shoudn’t be thinking of bringing in another muse
➡︎ CHARLIE ⬅︎
Charlie finished up the drink and set it down in front of the alpha, glancing around briefly to see if anyone else needed him before he focused back on the man. “So. Any reason that you want to get drunk as fast as you can or should I just assume that’s none of my business?” He asked, curious if the man would answer his question or not. The omega wouldn’t blame him at all if he refused to answer.
“Thanks.” Preston reaches for the drink and put it to his lips — taking a sip and hissing at the burn of alcohol before turning back to the bartender. He put his arms on the bar. “It’s -“ about the girl I pulled out of the fire that’s currently in ICU or I’m worried about my friend but he’s pretty certain that the bartender was only asking because it’s a bit part of their job to. “My cousin, he’s been hounding me and keep on setting me up on dates. I’m this close to blocking his number. He’s getting married and what is it with people in love and their obsession to play match maker to others?”
➡︎ LYSANDER ⬅︎
It had been a long night, even for the workaholic persona he carried on his shoulders. A few false alarms but it was a relatively worrisome fire in a restaurant nearby that had him concerned. It was a gas leak and Lys already had plans to head over and help repair some of the damage as well as make it safer. However the distress was clear on his face; this brought it back.
Preston’s face was blank his eyes trailed on Lysander. He was familiar with that expression, probably the same expression he or anyone wears when their not all the way present — lost in their own minds. He rolled his shoulders, and put on a smile as he started walking closer to his friend. “Hey.” He tilted. “You alright?”
➡︎ FINN ⬅︎
Finn let out a breath of relief when the other said that his face will be as cute as ever after he moved forward and let him inspect it. “Thank god...Have to keep the merchandise looking pretty, you know?” finn joked. “I have. Someone told me that people would have to cut into my body if it got infected. No way am I letting that happen.”
Preston’s hand touched the other’s jaw - tilting it up as he looked at it. “I don’t think it’s going to scar.” He chuckled and shook his head, letting his hand dropped to his side. “Who said that?” He ruffles the other’s hair. “That’s a little bit extreme, but if it did get infected you’re going to be saddled with medicine and a lecture or two from Sam.”
➡︎ JAMES ⬅︎
“Fourteen. And before you even start, no, that is not too much,” James said, amused. When Preston mentioned his ex, he immediately thought, whoops, wincing. James had forgotten about that - he sneaked a look to to his side to peek at his friend. Preston looked alright, but James wasn’t sure if he was still broken up about his ex. “I think they do,” he said carefully. “You still haven’t spoken to him?”
“That’s eleven more kids than I’d like have.” He shrugged before he nudge at the other as they look at him. “Why are you looking at me like that?” He shook his head —it wasn’t like the break up was a big deal, it was only messy because the guy he was dating was a drama queen. If they were really really honest, he didn’t really care enough about the break up. “Fu-dge no. Last time I tried to, I got showered by mint flavoured ice cream.” He shook his head. “It took like three showers before I got it all off. Remember?”

➡︎ ᴊᴀᴍᴇs ⬅︎
“Right,” James said, raising an eyebrow and smiling despite himself, “-because you’re the pinnacle of propriety,” he teased. He watched the kids from the corner of his eye, making sure none of them got hurt running around. “We just got here, but I’m gonna take them for a walk around the park in a little while. Then we end the afternoon with ice cream, if the kids behave.” At this, he winked. “But they always get me to cave, anyway.”
“That’s me. It’s good to hear you haven’t forgotten about my qualities Jamie” He smirked before turning to see the number of kids, well — as much as Preston adores kids, he can’t imagine watching over these many on a daily basis. “Jesus, how many kids are in your class?” He stood next to the other, so that he weren’t blocking the view and could watch over the children himself. “Huh.” He looked at one the kids. “I’m sure they’ll behave, I hear they’re giving out free mallows and sprinkles today.” The Ice cream shop always does, well at least a few months ago they did. An ex of his works there and he hasn’t visited the place in months. He leaned towards James and whispered in a low voice. “Do they still? because I still haven’t visited that place since” said ex threw ice cream at him
➡︎ ᴊᴀᴍᴇs ⬅︎
“Hey,” James said, stepping in front of the man before he could come any closer. He knew it had been a terrible idea to bring his students on a trip to the park. “Come on, man, don’t - don’t curse in front of the kids, okay? It’s not cool.”
“Fudging fudge.” He rolled his eyes before raising a brow at the kid who intentionally stepped on him earlier. He tilted his head at James as greeting. “You know I’d never curse in front of these kids.” At least not intentionally, not considering the fact that he’s from New York and was in the forces for quite sometime - he can curse words that can make a truck driver blush. “or any other kids for that matter” he grins. “where are you guys headed?”
➡︎ ғɪɴɴ ⬅︎
Finn shrugged his shoulders. “Another barfight. Normally I stay out of them if I see them going on, but it was getting a bit to extreme for my liking. The alphas didn’t really like that I was trying to butt in.” Finn explained with a pout. “They didn’t have to go for the face though. The side was bad enough.” Finn chuckled, trying to make light of it.
Preston shook his head, gesturing with his hand — asking the other to come a bit closer. “Here let me see” He snorts. “Your face is still going to be as cute as ever before your next shift. Have you been cleaning it properly though?”
➡︎ ᴄʜᴀʀʟɪᴇ ⬅︎
Charlie was still a little keyed up like he usually got after dealing with an alpha who thought too highly of themselves. The omega pushed it back, though, figuring there wasn’t much else he could do unless the group started harassing an actual customer. A moment later, Charlie laughed. “Alright. Just gimme one sec and I’ll have something for you in no time.”
He titled his head as the universal sign of, take your time and smiled before he looked back down at his fingers — distractedly tapping. He wasn’t kidding that he needed the best drink around, the call earlier hadn’t been pretty and drinking out here was better than drinking alone at his house. He rested his head on his arms, closing his eyes as he waited for the other to come back with his drink.
